BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Abattoir Improvement Loan 1965, £11,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, the Blenheim Borough Council doth hereby resolve as follows:

“That, for the purpose of securing the interest and other charges on a loan of eleven thousand pounds (£11,000) authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving the facilities at the Municipal Abattoir, the said council hereby makes and levies a special rate of sixty-six one-thousandths of a penny (0·066d.) in the pound (£) on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate payable on demand in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the said loan is fully paid off, and the said council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said special rate as security for the above loan.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Blenheim Borough Council held on the 21st day of April 1965.

PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Paparua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £30,100 authorised to be raised by the Paparua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the High Pressure Water Supply Loan 1958, of £236,000 which matures on 1 July 1965, the said Paparua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0461964d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Sockburn and Hornby County Towns and the Islington Township; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 29 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reclamation Area (Land) Loan 1965, £50,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, the security for the repayment of the Reclamation Area (Land) Loan 1965, £50,000 and the charges thereon shall be the rentals derived from the letting of the said housing units and/or a special rate of ninety-nine six thousand two hundred and fiftieths of a penny (99⁄6250d.) in the pound (£0·000066) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate payable on demand during the currency of the said loan.”

The Christchurch City Council at a meeting held on the 21st day of April 1965, passed the above resolution.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

SECURITY RATE

Sewer Loan 1965, £50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000) authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land for a sewage treatment plant site (£38,000), installing a sewer main to the Bryant Trust Block (£7,000), and extending the present sewerage system (£5,000), the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of fifty-two thousandths of a penny (0·052d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the City of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Hamilton City Council at a duly constituted meeting held on the 14th day of April 1965.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

SECURITY RATE

Stormwater Loan 1964, £100,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred thousand pounds (£100,000) authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing for the cost of laying and completing additional storm water mains within the city, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of one hundred and four thousandths of a penny (0·104d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the City of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

KAMO TOWN COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Changes to the Town District of Kamo District Scheme Approved

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the Town District of Kamo, were approved by the council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 13th day of April 1965. The council also resolved that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme shall come into operation on the 3rd day of May 1965.

Copies of the scheme changes as approved have been deposited in the council’s office and in the Public Library and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

Public Notification of Helensville Borough District Scheme—Schedule No. 1 Relating to Proposed New Street

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Helensville Borough Council made on the 20th day of April 1965, a change of the district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The change relates to a site on Rautawhiri Road. The plan of the change has been deposited in the offices of the council, Commercial Road, Helensville, and the Helensville Public Library, Commercial Road, Helensville, and the office of the Auckland Regional Planning Authority, 26 Princes Street, Auckland C.1, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
