HOKITIKA BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Hokitika Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of widening the eastern portion of Revell Street, Hokitika, from Weld Street to Stafford Street.
Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the works or to the taking of the lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days from the 13th day of April 1965 (being the date of the first publication of this notice) to the Town Clerk, at his office No. 20 Sewell Street (P.O. Box 155), Hokitika.
Survey Office Plan No. 5217 referred to in the Schedule hereto is open for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk at any time during office hours.

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Departure From Operative District Planning Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, by order dated the 11th day of March 1965, gave consent to a departure from the Operative District Scheme (Combined Area Section) of the County of Taranaki to the extent indicated hereunder.
By permitting Roskill Properties Ltd. or Keith Hay Homes Ltd., to use of an area of 5 acres, more or less, and being part of Lot 3, on D.P. 4954, Taranaki Registry, for the assembly and supply of prefabricated homes, school rooms, halls, and the like, notwithstanding that the said land is included in a rural zone subject however to the following conditions.
CONDITIONS
THE owner to seal all access ways and roadways on the site; the land to be used solely for erection of prefabricated buildings for later delivery to purchasers off the site; no permanent buildings within 4 chains of State highway reserve and allowing for future reserves, construction works being located as far as possible from Bell Block Dairy Factory and its houses; living quarters on site limited to one caretaker's or other employee's unit; heavy vehicle access to and from Corbett Road only; upon subdivision, L. F. Hannah to dedicate for road without cost to council land coloured pink on plan; approval does not limit county's powers on subdivision of 5 acre block; the permitted use of the land for Industrial B purposes is subject to the provisions hereof and to the Ordinances relating to Industrial B zones; the burning of material of any kind on or near the site and the removal of all rubbish and waste material therefrom shall be carried out to the satisfaction of and be under the direction and control of the council; leave reserved to all parties "to apply".
A copy of the order is available for public inspection at the office of the Taranaki County Council, Robe Street, New Plymouth, during office hours.

Application for Conditional Use
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Kairanga County Council will be determining an application from X. L. Freighters Ltd. for the conditional use of property on State Highway No. 3 (Rangitikei Line) described as Lot 1, D.P. 17671, being part Section 550, Town of Palmerston North, Block VI, Kairanga S.D., for the purpose of erecting a store shed.
Any person or persons objecting to the proposal must submit his or her objection, in writing, to the council not later than 26 April 1965.

PETONE BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Petone District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the No. 1 review of the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Borough of Petone was approved by the council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 13th day of April 1965, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the board had been incorporated.
The council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of May 1965. Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the council's office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957
APPROVAL OF SCHEME
IN the matter of the will of Arthur John Clarkson, late of Christchurch in the Dominion of New Zealand, salesman, deceased, notice is hereby given pursuant to section 54 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that the Supreme Court at Christchurch, on the 7th day of April 1965, approved of a scheme submitted by the North Canterbury Hospital Board for disposal of a certain trust fund amounting to approximately £2,250. The scheme provides that after payment of the costs of the proceedings the balance with any accrued interest thereon shall be applied by the North Canterbury Hospital Board for general work in radio-therapy research or towards the purchase of radio-therapy apparatus for use in hospitals under the jurisdiction of the said board.

IN the matter of the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951 and in the matter of an appeal by the trustees of the Christchurch Racecourse, notice is hereby given that the appeal by the trustees of the Christchurch Racecourse against the resolution of the Christchurch Drainage Board including within the boundaries of the Sewer Extension Loan Special Area certain areas of the Christchurch Racecourse will be heard at the Magistrate's Court, at Christchurch, at 10 a.m., on Tuesday the 25th day of May 1965.
