BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Senior Citizens Housing Loan £3,550
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £3,550 authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for
old people, the said Bay of Islands County Council hereby
makes a special rate of two-hundredths of one penny in the
pound upon the rateable value (based on the unimproved
value) in the County of Bay of Islands; and that the special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
meeting of the Bay of Islands County Council held on the
16th day of December 1964.

CITY OF ROTORUA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR LOAN
Rotorua City Council Water Supply Redemption Loan 1964,
£31,950
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested
in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of thirty-one thousand nine hundred and fifty pounds
(£31,950) to be known as the Rotorua City Council Water
Supply Redemption Loan 1964 of thirty-one thousand nine
hundred and fifty pounds (£31,950) authorised to be raised by
the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the
Water Supply and Reticulation Loan 1950 which mature on
4 February 1965, the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a
special rate of decimal one nought four pence (0·104d.) in
the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unim-
proved value) of all rateable property within the City of
Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly
on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

Rotorua City Council Pensioner Flats Additional Loan 1964
£4,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of four thousand pounds (£4,000) to be known as the
Rotorua City Council Pensioners’ Flats Additional Loan 1964
of four thousand pounds (£4,000) authorised to be raised
by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of meeting additional costs in erecting sixteen
single and four double flats for pensioners, the Rotorua City
Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought
seven pence (0·007d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on
the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
within the City of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 30
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers
of the Taneatua Township taken on the 16th day of
December 1964, on the proposal of the Whakatane County
Council to borrow the sum of £18,000 for the purpose of
installing a water supply system:

UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and
the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and in the matter
of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that
the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Upper
Hutt require to take, pursuant to section 47 of the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953, and all other Acts and provisions
enabling them so to do and pursuant to the provisions of
the Upper Hutt Borough District Town Planning Scheme,
the land and interest in land described in the Schedule
hereto for the proper development or use of the land and/or
for the purposes of terminating the use thereof that does not
conform to the said scheme and/or for the provision of
amenities to be provided under the said Scheme.
Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said
land is open for inspection by all persons, without fee, during
office hours at the offices of the Upper Hutt Borough Council,
Upper Hutt. Every person affected is hereby required to set
forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the
taking of the lands or the interests therein, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and
to send such written objection within forty (40) days from
the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Upper
Hutt Borough Council, Upper Hutt.
SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land or interest in lands situate in the
Borough of Upper Hutt and being respectively No. 13 Station
Street, adjoining Nos. 6 and 8 Russell Street, and No. 8
Russell Street, and being:
First: Twelve perches (12·00p.), more or less, being the
part Section 128, of the Hutt District, coloured blue on S.O.
Plan 24368, and being the land comprised in and described by
Deeds Index 6/543.
(NOTE—The Upper Hutt Borough Council has already
acquired the rights of way over the whole of this land which
were created by Conveyance 29172.)
Secondly: All existing rights of way or drainage rights
whether implied by D.P. 1831 or otherwise created to which
the four decimal four seven perches (4·47p.), more or less,
being the part Section 128, of the Hutt District, marked
“drainage reserve” on D.P. 1831, and being all of the land
comprised in and described by certificate of title, Volume
532, folio 80 (Wellington Registry); shown coloured sepia on
S.O. Plan 24368, is subject.
(NOTE—The Upper Hutt Borough Council has already
acquired the fee simple of this land.)
Thirdly: All existing rights of way over the land coloured
blue on the plan on certificate of title, Volume 285, folio
118 (Wellington Registry), whether implied by D.P. 1831 or
otherwise created to which the twenty-eight perches (28p.),
more or less, being part of Section 128, of the Hutt District,
and being all the land comprised in and described by the
said certificate of title 285/118; shown coloured orange, and
orange edged orange on S.O. Plan 24368, is subject.
(NOTE—The Upper Hutt Borough Council has already
acquired the fee simple of the 17·86 perches of this land
shown coloured orange on S.O. Plan 24368.)
