Exemption From Seat Belts for Goods-service Vehicles Being Tractors or Fork Lift Trucks

PURSUANT to regulation 25A of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby exempts tractors and fork lift trucks from the requirements of regulation 51B of the said regulations relating to seat belts.

Exemption From Seat Belts for Goods-Service Vehicles Having a Manufacturer’s Gross Laden Weight Exceeding 2 Tons and First Registered Prior to 1 May 1965

PURSUANT to regulation 25A of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby exempts, from the requirements of regulation 51B of the said regulations relating to seat belts, all goods-service vehicles having a manufacturer’s gross laden weight exceeding 2 tons and which are first registered prior to 1 May 1965.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Ruatoki Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 7 May 1940, published in the Gazette, No. 41, Volume II, 9 May 1940, page 1036 and registered as No. K. 24424.
