ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Taihape College Board
    of Governors Order 1965.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
    June 1965.
  2. The constitution of the Board of Governors of Taihape
    College, prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914,
    is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a
    Board of Governors constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Wanganui Education
    Board:
    (b) Eight members elected by the parents of the pupils
    attending the school.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 5th day of
April 1965
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as
amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Upper Hutt College Board
    of Governors Order 1965.
  2. The constitution of the Board of Governors of Upper
    Hutt College, prescribed by the Upper Hutt Post-primary
    School No. 2 Board of Governors Order 1960,* is hereby
    varied so that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in
    section 90 of the Education Act 1914, the school shall be
    controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Wellington Education
    Board;
    (b) Five members elected by the parents of the pupils
    attending the school;
    (c) One member appointed by the Upper Hutt Borough
    Council;
    (d) One member appointed by the Hutt County Council;
    (e) Two members elected by the members of the School
    Committees of the Brentwood Public School, the
    Fraser Crescent Public School, the Trentham Public
    School, the Silverstream Public School, the Pinehaven
    Public School, the Maymorn Public School, the
    Mangaroa Public School, the Te Marua Public
    School, the Upper Hutt Public School, and the
    Oxford Crescent Public School;
    (f) One member to be co-opted by the Board of Governors
    itself, if and when it thinks fit:
  3. The Minister of Education may from time to time, by
    notice in the Gazette, amend the list of schools to which
    paragraph (e) of clause 2 of this order applies.
  4. The Upper Hutt Post-primary School No. 2 Board of
    Governors Order 1960 is hereby revoked.

Declaring Road in Block XVI, Purua Survey District, to be a
Government Road and to be Stopped

April 1965

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby (a) declares the pieces of
road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government
road, and (b) stops the said road.
