Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land in Block XIV, Ngamatea Survey District, for a Public School (Kakatahi School)


NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for a public school; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Wanganui and is there open for inspection, and that every person affected by the taking of the land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Wellington City District Scheme (Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)


PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Wellington City Council in the interests of the Wellington City District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of August 1965 inclusive, is hereby extended to the 1st day of August 1965.

Foreshore Licence at Rawene Amended


PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950 the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence of 7 April 1964* authorising Rawene Garage and Service Station Ltd., to occupy foreshore and land below low-water mark at Rawene by:

(a) Inserting the expression “(1965)” after the word “Station”; and

(b) Omitting the words “a firewood yard, a shop, and a garage.”

Licensing Bay City Enterprises Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Moturiki Island as a Ramp


PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Bay City Enterprises Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Moturiki Island, as marked “Stage 1” shown on plan marked M.D. 11960 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be £5 and the annual sum so payable £10.

  3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of March 1965.

The Standards Act 1941—Draft Amendment to the New Zealand Standard Specification for Metal Office Equipment (NZSS GP 42:1964)


PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft amendment is being circulated under the reference No. D. 8192.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies free of charge from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C.1.

The closing date for receipt of comment is 27 April 1965.
