Vesting Reclaimed Land in the Manukau County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 29th day of
March 1965
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests in
the Manukau County Council, on and from the 1st day of
March 1965, the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that land of Halfmoon Bay, Tamaki River, comprising
4 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less, as shown coloured
yellow on the plan marked M.D. 11803 and deposited in the
office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Orders in Council
of the 15th day of December 1953,* and the 20th day of
March 1957†, authorising trustees to use and occupy a part
of the foreshore at Waikawa Harbour as a site for a slipway
and prescribing dues for the use of same.

subscribe for shares in the Development Finance Corporation
of New Zealand.

PURSUANT to the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion
Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Otago Disabled Citizens
Society (Incorporated) Dunedin Order 1965. - Exemption is hereby granted to the Otago Disabled
Citizens Society (Incorporated) Dunedin, an organisation
approved by the Minister of Labour under section 3 of the
Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, in respect
of the sheltered workshop at 279 Macandrew Road, Dunedin,
from:
(a) All the provisions of every award and industrial agreement
which would otherwise be applicable in respect
of persons employed in that workshop; and
(b) Section 34 of the Factories Act 1946 and all the provisions
of the Annual Holidays Act 1944 and the Minimum Wage Act 1945.

The Smedley Boys' Training Farm Approval Order 1946,
Amendment No. 1

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Howard Estate Act 1919, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following
order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Smedley Boys' Training
Farm Approval Order 1946, Amendment No. 1, and shall
be read together with and deemed part of the Smedley Boys'
Training Farm Approval Order 1946* (hereinafter referred
to as the principal order). - (1) Clause 5 of the scheme set forth in the Schedule to
the principal order is hereby amended by omitting from
subclause (3) the words “in the first instance”.
(2) Clause 5 of the scheme set forth in the Schedule to the
principal order is hereby further amended by revoking sub-
clauses (5), (6), and (7), and substituting the following
subclauses:
“(5) The Board shall consider all applications received
by it in any year and may, after having regard to the
general fitness of the applicants for admission and enrolment,
admit and enrol any applicant as a cadet of the training farm
for the next succeeding course of training and instruction:
Provided that when considering applications for the purposes
of this subclause the Board shall give preference to
those candidates for admission and enrolment whose parents
permanently reside in the Provincial District of Hawke's Bay:
Provided also that, except with the prior approval of the
Minister, not more than six cadets may be enrolled in any
financial year. - (1) Clause 6 of the scheme set forth in the Schedule to
the principal order is hereby amended by omitting from sub-
clause (1) the words “by the Minister or by the Board acting
under the direction of the Minister”, and substituting the words
“by the Board”.
(2) Clause 6 of the scheme set forth in the Schedule to
the principal order is hereby further amended by revoking
subclause (2). - The scheme set forth in the Schedule to the principal
order as so amended is hereby approved as the scheme of
administration and expenditure of the net revenues derived
from the Howard Estate for the purposes of paragraph (c)
of section 8 of the Howard Estate Act 1919 (as inserted by
paragraph (b) of section 9 of the Howard Estate Amendment
Act 1927).
