NEW ZEALAND SOCIETY OF ACCOUNTANTS

Pursuant to rule 67 of the rules made under the authority
of the New Zealand Society of Accountants Act 1958, notice is
hereby given that at a meeting held on 25 February 1965, the
Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Society of
Accountants heard charges against Keith Alistair Diehl,
associate registered accountant, Christchurch, that he was
a bankrupt who had not obtained an order of discharge,
and that he had conducted himself in such a manner as to
render the exercise of the powers of the disciplinary committee expedient in the interests of the public or the society.
The decision of the disciplinary committee was that the
charges had been proved and that the name of Keith Alistair
Diehl be removed from the Register of Members of the Society.

hereby given that at a meeting held on 24 February 1965,
the Disciplinary Committee of the New Zealand Society of
Accountants heard charges against Desmond Leslie Sims,
associate registered accountant, Napier, that he had been
convicted of crimes involving dishonesty as defined by section
2 of the Crimes Act 1961, in that he was on the 2nd day
of November 1964 convicted in the Magistrate's Court at
Napier on seven charges of theft.
The decision of the disciplinary committee was that the
charges had been proved and that the name of Desmond
Leslie Sims be removed from the Register of Members of
the Society.

MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

Pursuant to section 13 (2) of the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers
of the County of Masterton, taken on the 20th day of March
1965, on the proposal of the above-named local authority
to raise a loan of £55,000 to be known as the Council
Chambers Loan 1964 for the purpose of constructing new
council chambers and ancillary works resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ... 743
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 317
The number of informal votes was ......... 2
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957

APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF VARIATION

In the matter of an application for variation of the mode of
administering a trust under section 33 of the Charitable
Trusts Act 1957, whereas by virtue of a Deed of Trust dated
the 28th day of February 1958, the Masterton Trust Lands
Trustees accepted from the estate of Henry Oscar Toogood,
late of Masterton, retired sheep farmer, deceased, a trust fund
for the purpose of providing an Arts Hall in Masterton, and
whereas under the terms of the said Deed of Trust the Arts
Hall was to be erected by the 31st day of December 1964,
now notice is hereby given pursuant to section 36 of the
above Act that the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees have
applied to the Supreme Court, at Masterton, for approval
of a motion to vary the said Deed of Trust wherein the trustees
propose that the date of completion of the said Arts Hall be
extended to the 31st day of December 1966.
The application for approval of the variation will be heard
in the Supreme Court, at Wellington, on Wednesday the 19th
day of May 1965. Any person desiring to oppose the variation
is required to give written notice of his intention to do so to
the Registrar of the Supreme Court, at Wellington, and to
the trustees and to the Attorney-General not less than seven
clear days before the date of hearing.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing)
subscription £3 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and
1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
