Notice Calling Final Meeting

Pursuant to section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, notice is hereby given that the final meeting of the company will be held in No. 1 Lounge, R.S.A. Rooms, Winton, at 8 p.m., on Tuesday 27 April 1965, for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up of the company has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of.

BELWOOD BITUMEN PRODUCTS LTD.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Belwood Bitumen Products Ltd., a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office in the City of Wellington and carrying on business as bitumen manufacturers and sellers, notice is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 12th day of March 1965, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £40,000 to £10,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 22nd day of March 1965. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

"The capital of Belwood Bitumen Products Ltd. is ten thousand pounds (£10,000) divided into 10,000 fully paid ordinary shares of one pound (£1) each having been reduced from forty thousand pounds (£40,000) divided into 40,000 fully paid ordinary shares of one pound (£1) each."

ADVERTISMENT OF PETITION

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Victor G. Moore Ltd., notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 22nd day of December 1964, presented to the said Court by Victor G. Moore Ltd., a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act 1955 having its registered office at No. 4 Crawford Street, Dunedin, and carrying on business there as a builder; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Dunedin, on the 9th day of April 1965, at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioner Flats Loan No. 3, 1964, £35,200

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £35,200 authorised to be raised by the Mount Eden Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the construction of pensioner flats, the said Mount Eden Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal three five five pence (0.355d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Eden; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Mount Eden Borough Council held on the 23rd day of February 1965.

Pensioner Flats Loan No. 2, 1964, £34,100

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £34,100, this loan to be raised by the Mount Eden Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the construction of pensioner flats, the said Mount Eden Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal four three four pence (0.434d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Eden; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Mount Eden Borough Council held on the 23rd day of February 1965.

BOROUGH OF THAMES

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL

Pursuant to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Thames, taken on the 20th day of March 1965, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £90,000 to be known as the Municipal Building Loan 1964 for the purpose of constructing and furnishing a municipal building (£84,500), purchasing land and erecting a house or purchasing land and an existing house (£4,000), and acquiring and developing land as an off-street car park (£1,500), resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was...... 652
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 497
The number of informal votes was............. 24

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
