(18) That portion of the properties of Messrs A. R. and B. E. Evans, "Alpine", Pareora, No. 2 R.D., Timaru, contained in certificates of title 305/263, 136/199, 98/111, 126/232, 151/149, 696/100, A1/935, 131/288, 154/75, 95/284, 96/167, 235/287, and situated in the South Canterbury Acclimatisation District.
Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District
(1) All that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 517 acres, more or less, being part of the Town of Kinloch, and adjoining part of Lake Wakatipu, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by the northern side of Loch Carron Street; towards the east by the eastern side of Navis Street and the production of that line southwards for 6167·3 links; towards the south by the southern boundary of Section 13, Block II, being 5094 links in all; and towards the west by the western side of Islay Street and the production of that line southwards for 4170·5 links; and excepting from the said parcel of land Sections 1 to 5, Block I, Sections 3, 4, and 27, Block XVII, Section 6, Block XVIII, Sections 3 to 7, 10 to 13, Block XX, Sections 8 to 15, Block XXI, Town of Kinloch. As the same is more particularly shown on plan marked L. and S. 23/807 deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington.
(2) The Haast River watershed, including the Landsborough and Clark Valleys.
(3) Roy's Bay, being that portion of Lake Wanaka lying south generally of a right line running from Eely Point to the point where the northern bank of Scar Burn joins the said lake and, in addition, a strip of land one-quarter mile in width around the margin of the above-defined portion of that lake, such strip of land being extended to include the whole of the township of Wanaka.
(4) All that area bounded by a line commencing on the summit of Paddock Hill, situated in Titiroa Survey District; thence north-easterly by the right line between Paddock Hill and Trig. Station U in Block VII, Takitimo Survey District, to its intersection with the right bank of the Waiau River; thence north-westerly generally by the said right bank to the Manapouri accommodation house; thence northerly generally along the main road to the hatchery at Te Anau; thence south-easterly along the main Te Anau - Mossburn road to the summit of the range, being the northern end of the Ramparts; thence north-easterly along the summit of the range passing through Trig. Stations G. S, and A in Block II, Te Anau Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the summit of the range between the Fredburn and the Upukerora River to Snowdon; thence northerly generally along the summit of the Livingstone Mountains, passing through Mount Richmond, Winton Peak, Countess Peak, Moffat Peak, and David Peaks, to the summit of the range between Lake Fergus and Lake Howden; thence south-westerly generally along the summit of the range passing through Skelmorlie Peak and Largs Peak to a point due north of Mount Eglinton; thence due south by a right line through Mount Eglinton to the Eglinton River; thence south-westerly generally by the said river to Lake Te Anau and by the eastern shore of that lake to the Waiau River, down that river to Lake Manapouri, and by the eastern shore of that lake to the Waiau River; thence by a right line in the direction of the Monowai River where it flows out of Lake Monowai to a point due west of Paddock Hill; thence due east to the summit of Paddock Hill, the place of commencement, excepting the area of cultivated land approximately 2 miles long by half a mile wide in the Retford Valley on either side of the Retford River extending approximately 1 mile on either side of the two bridges across the Retford River on the Milford Sound Road.
(5) Part of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding land (Queenstown, etc.). All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 4,400 acres, more or less, being part of the waters of Lake Wakatipu and land in the vicinity, commencing at Trig. Station I near Refuge Point in Block VII, Coneburn Survey District; thence bounded towards the south-west by a line to the southern corner of Section 28, Block I, Mid-Wakatipu Survey District; thence towards the north-west generally by the said Section 28; thence by a line from the south-eastern corner of the aforesaid section of the southern corner of Section 73, Block XX, Shotover Survey District; thence towards the north-west generally by Sections 19, 22, 8, by the crossing of a road, by the said road, and by Section 11, said Block XX; thence towards the east and
north-east generally by Sections 75 and 32, said Block XX, to the southern side of Frankton Road; again towards the north-west by said road to the eastern boundary of the Town of Frankton; thence again towards the north-east generally by the eastern boundary of said town to the Kawerau River; thence across said river to the most northern corner of Block XII, Coneburn Survey District; thence by part of that block to a road; thence towards the south-east generally by said road to the most southern corner of Section 2, Block I, Coneburn Survey District; thence by a line to Trig. Station I, being the commencement point.
(6) All that area commencing at the south-west corner of Section 9, Block III, Town of Glenorchy, and extending a distance of approximately 13½ chains in a south-westerly direction to the western boundary of Wharf Reserve, Block IV, Glen-orchy District; thence in a north-westerly direction by the south-western boundary of Wharf Reserve for a distance of approximately 34½ chains to the north-western corner of the Wharf Reserve, then for a distance of approximately 20½ chains to a point on the edge of the Rees River in line with the south-western side of Butement Street; thence in a southerly direction back to the commencement point by the western side of Lake Road and Benmore Place.
(7) All that area in the Westland Land District, County of Westland, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Rural Section 516, situated in Block XIV, Okuru Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Rural Section 516 aforesaid and its production across a public road to the middle of the Turnbull River; thence north-westerly generally down the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-western boundary of part Rural Section 231, situated in Block IX, Okuru Survey District; thence south-easterly to and along that boundary and its production across a public road again by that boundary and its production across the Haast Jacksons Bay Road and again by that boundary and the south-western boundary of part Rural Section 864A to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned rural section; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Rural Section 864A to the south-western boundary of Rural Section 2387; thence south-easterly by that boundary and its production across Nolan Road and the south-western boundary of Rural Section 3739, situated in Block X, Okuru Survey District, and its production across Stout Road and the south-western boundaries of Rural Sections 466 and 513 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary across Collyer Road to the point of commencement.
Southland Acclimatisation District
(1) Boyle's C.G.A. Sections 18 and 25-27, and Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 1383, being Sections 19-24, Block III, Town of East Winton.
(2) All that part of the Southland Acclimatisation Society District north of the Monowai River and west of the Waiau River.
(3) Sections 22, 26, and 235, Block XII, Wairio S.D., and Section 19, Block IV, Aparima S.D., being the property of Mr G. E. C. Dorricott.
(4) Northern Southland Closed Game Area – All that land lying between the Southland Acclimatisation Society's northern and the following described boundary:
Commencing at Te Anau Hill on the society's north-western boundary, thence south-easterly to Mount Prospect; thence south-westerly to Danby Hill; thence south to Trig. Station G.S., Block II, Mararoa Survey District; thence north-east to Chimney Hut; thence westerly along the formed motor road to the Oreti River at a point known as Gibraltar Rock; thence north-easterly to Jane Peak on the society's north-eastern boundary.
Stratford Acclimatisation District
(1) The property of Mr R. C. Kennedy, Tahora, comprising the land in Block VI, Pouata S.D.
Taranaki Acclimatisation District
(1) Allotment 1 on D.P. 4414, part Sections 12 and 13, Hua and Waiwakaiho, containing 71 acres 3 roods 23 perches, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 108, folio 170 (New Plymouth City Council, owners; A. C. Morecroft as lessee).
(2) Allotment 2 on D.P. 4414, part of Sections 12 and 13, Hua and Waiwakaiho, containing 48 acres, 2 roods 16 perches, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 236, folio 96 (New Plymouth City Council, owners; W. Wickham as lessee).
(3) Allotment 3 on D.P. 4414, part of Sections 13 and 166, Hua and Waiwakaiho, containing 32 acres 1 rood 0·9 perches, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 108, folio 172 (New Plymouth City Council, owners; W. Wickham as lessee).
