PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the First Schedule hereto, held by Graham Edward Mears, of Wanganui, cake retailer, under and by virtue of lease No. 26214, Wellington Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held by Phyllis Margaret Rockell Horn, of Wanganui, blouse cutter, under and by virtue of lease No. 25179, Wellington Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, held by Richard Lovett Good, of Wanganui, accountant, under and by virtue of lease No. 24948, Wellington Land Registry, are hereby taken for better utilisation from and after the 22nd day of March 1965.

Declaring Land and a Right of Way Over Land Taken, Subject to a Profit a Prendre Relating to Mining, for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Block VII, Rangiriri Survey District
PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to the land first described to the profit a prendre in respect of a half share in all coal and minerals under the said land created by Conveyance No. 228258 (R. 217/509), South Auckland Land Registry, for soil conservation and river control purposes, and that an easement of right of way is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in Her Majesty the Queen, the full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the said land and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land secondly described in the said First Schedule, such easement to be held appurtenant to the land first described in the said First Schedule from and after the 22nd of March 1965.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to Proclamation No. 327851 (Canterbury Land Registry), defining the middle line of a transmission line and, subject as to Lot 18, D.P. 22142, to the building-line restriction imposed by notice No. 545161 (Canterbury Land Registry), and as to Lot 53, D.P. 22142, to the easement created in and by memorandum of transfer No. 586491 (Canterbury Land Registry), for the development of water power (Islington-Papanui Transmission Line).
