OTAGO CENTRAL ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Generation and Extensions Renewal Loan 1965, £32,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otago Central Electric Power Board resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty-two thousand pounds (£32,000) authorised to be raised by the Otago Central Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity portion of the Electrical Generation and Extensions Loan 1952, of £165,000, which matures on 28 March 1965, the said Otago Central Electric Power Board makes a special rate of 0·049 of a penny in the pound on the capital value of the rateable property in the whole of the board’s district of supply; and that the special rate shall be payable annually on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Otago Central Electric Power Board, held on 24 February 1965.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road at Mauku Bridge, on Glenbrook Road, within the County of Franklin and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk to the said council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by and who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the 11th day of March 1965, being the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for a recreation ground the land described in the Schedule hereto.
A plan showing the land proposed to be taken is available for public inspection at the office of the Tauranga County Council, Cameron Road, Tauranga, during forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons affected by the taking of the land and having well grounded objections thereto are hereby called upon to set forth their objections in writing and send the same to the office of the Tauranga County Council on or before the 14th day of April 1965.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928 notice is hereby given that the Petone Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and of all other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, to execute a certain public work, namely, street widening; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said council, situate in Jackson Street, and is open for inspection, without fee, for all persons during ordinary office hours.
Every person affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the works or the taking of the lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the said Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Jackson Street, Petone.
