IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Crown Meat Co. Ltd., notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 9th day of March 1965, presented to the said Court by St. Heliers Butchery Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Auckland; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland, on the 26th day of March 1965, at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1937, the undersigned has applied to the Minister of Mines for a pipeline authorisation to convey natural gas or oil by pipeline from Kapuni or Paritutu Road, New Plymouth, to Paritutu Road, New Plymouth or Kapuni, passing through and along the properties, roads, and streets shown on plans in the offices of Shell BP and Todd Oil Services Ltd., at Bank of New Zealand Building, Devon Street, New Plymouth, and Shell House, The Terrace, Wellington, and available for inspection between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday to Friday of each week until 31 March 1965.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
——

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lyttelton Borough Council proposes to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public work, namely, for a public street under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928. A plan showing the land proposed to be taken is available for public inspection at the offices of the Lyttelton Borough Council, Lyttelton. Every person affected should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the said work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to lodge the written objection at the offices of the Lyttelton Borough Council, Lyttelton, within 40 days from 8 March 1965, being the date of the first publication of this notice.

SCHEDULE

FIRST, all that piece of land situate in the Borough of Lyttelton containing five decimal nine perches (5·9p.), or thereabouts, being part Lot 2, Deposited Plan 14710, part Town Section 324; and being also part of the land described in certificate of title, Volume 530, folio 111 (Canterbury Registry); as the same is shown coloured orange on a plan lodged at the office of the Chief Surveyor, at Christchurch, as S.O. 10469, part of the property known as 20 Summer Road, Lyttelton.

Secondly, all that piece of land situate in the Borough of Lyttelton containing five decimal seven perches (5·7p.), or thereabouts, being part Lot 1, Deposited Plan 14710, part Town Section 324, and being also part of the land described in certificate of title, Volume 537, folio 72 (Canterbury Registry); as the same is shown coloured sepia on a plan lodged at the office of the Chief Surveyor, at Christchurch, as S.O. 10469, part of the property known as 18 Summer Road, Lyttelton.

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

Rural Housing Loan No. 7, 1964, £50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Waikato County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three four six of a penny (0·0346d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Waikato; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TAURANGA CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

Footpaths Loan 1963, £40,000, First Issue £10,000

AT a meeting on 22 February 1965 the Tauranga City Council passed the following resolution:

“Resolved that pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Footpaths Loan 1963, £40,000, First Issue £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing footpaths the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two seven pence (0·027d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of the rateable property in the City of Tauranga; and that the special rate would be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable annually on 1 March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
