Marlborough Coast Rabbit Board—Raising of Loan

PURSUANT to section 63 (4) of the Rabbits Act 1955, I, James Gordon Murray, Chairman of the Marlborough Coast Rabbit Board, hereby certify as follows:

1. That, a formal poll of ratepayers of the Marlborough Coast Rabbit District on the proposal of the Marlborough Coast Rabbit Board to raise a loan of £4,000 to be known as the Housing Loan 1964, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting a house thereon or purchasing land and an existing house has been dispensed with at the request of such ratepayers;

2. That, a total number of ratepayers signing the request amounted to nineteen (19), the total number of votes possessed by them amounted to fifty-six (56), the total number of ratepayers liable to be rated for the proposed loan amounted to thirty-four (34), and the total number of votes possessed by the ratepayers liable to be rated amounted to ninety-nine (99).

3. That, the proposal to raise the loan was carried.

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 8 of the Standards Act 1941, notice is hereby given that the above draft amendment is being circulated under the reference No. D 8119.

All persons who may be affected by this amendment and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain copies free of charge from the New Zealand Standards Institute, Bowen State Building, Bowen Street, or Private Bag, Wellington C.1.

The closing date for receipt of comment is 16 April 1965.
