PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Altering the Boundaries of the Taupiri Drainage and River District and the Hauraki Catchment District, and the Eureka Drainage District

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and the Land Drainage Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, alters the boundaries of the Taupiri Drainage and River District, by excluding therefrom the lands described in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby alters the boundaries at the Hauraki Catchment District by including therein the lands described in the Second and Third Schedules and by excluding therefrom the lands described in the Fifth Schedule hereto, and hereby alters the boundaries of the Eureka Drainage District by including therein the lands described in the Fourth Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

LAND EXCLUDED FROM TAUPIRI DRAINAGE AND RIVER DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Piako County, being the whole of Section 8, Block V, Waitoa Survey District.

Also all that area in the South Auckland Land District, Piako County, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of part Section 5, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Hauraki Catchment District as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1946, page 213; thence generally south-westerly and generally northerly along that boundary to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 27573, being a point on the boundary of the Taupiri Drainage and River District as described in the N.Z. Gazette, 1957, page 1418; thence easterly and southerly along that last-mentioned boundary to the point of commencement.

Also all that area in the South Auckland Land District, Piako and Waikato Counties, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of the balance of the land shown on D.P. 2715 and contained in the balance of certificate of title, Volume 860, folio 266, situated in Block XII, Komakorau Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Taupiri and River District described in N.Z. Gazette, 1957, page 1418,

and proceeding north-westerly along the south-western boundary of that above-mentioned land to and generally northerly along the generally eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 36295, to and south-easterly and generally north-easterly along the south-western and generally south-eastern boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. S. 3170, to and easterly along the northern boundary of the aforesaid Block XII, to and north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. S. 3170, and its production across Piako Road to the southern boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. S. 48; thence along a right line to a point on the eastern boundary of Lot 15, D.P. 4160, distant 35 chains from the southernmost corner of that Lot; thence along a right line to a point on the western boundary of Lot 9, D.P. 6948, distant 20 chains from the westernmost corner of that Lot; thence northerly along that western boundary to the aforesaid westernmost corner; thence along a right line to a point on the northern boundary of Block VIII, Komakorau Survey District, distant 30 chains due east from the western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 3536; thence northerly by a right line to a point on the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 29321, distant 30 chains from the westernmost corner of that Lot; thence north-easterly along a right line to the eastern end of that part of the northern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 12470, bearing 76° 34′, 794·8 links, and situated in Block IV, of the above-mentioned Survey District; thence generally easterly along the generally southern side of a public road, and that last-mentioned roadside produced to the south-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 12423; thence north-westerly along that boundary to a point in line with the production south-westerly of the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 12423; thence along a right line to the eastern end of that part of the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 26071, bearing 76° 23′, 2353·7 links, and situated in Block I, Maungakawa Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to a point on the south-western boundary of Section 12 of the aforesaid Block I, distant 11 chains from the southernmost corner of that section; thence again north-easterly along a right line to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 12, and its production to the north-eastern side of a public road, being a point on the boundary of the Taupiri Drainage and River District as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1957, page 1418; thence generally southerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Waikato County, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 8266, situated in Block XVI, Komakorau Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Taupiri Drainage and River District as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1957, page 1418; and proceeding northerly along a right line to the northernmost corner of part Lot 3, D.P. S. 962, situated in Block XII, Komakorau Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the aforesaid Taupiri Drainage and River District; thence south-easterly and south-westerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

All such areas being coloured yellow on Plan M.O.W. 19221, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE

LANDS EXCLUDED FROM TAUPIRI DRAINAGE AND RIVER DISTRICT AND INCLUDED IN HAURAKI CATCHMENT DISTRICT

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Piako County, being the whole of Section 8, Block V, Waitoa Survey District.

Also all that area in the South Auckland Land District, Piako County, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of part Section 5, Block XIII, Waitoa Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Hauraki Catchment District as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1946, page 213; thence generally south-westerly and generally northerly along that boundary, to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 27573, being a point on the boundary of the Taupiri Drainage and River District as described in the N.Z.
