Consent to the Erection of Flashing Red Traffic Control Lights at Otokia, Taieri County

PURSUANT to subclause 5 of regulation 18 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,* the Minister of Transport hereby consents to the erection of flashing red lights at the two places described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of traffic control in terms of subclause 4 of the said regulation 18.

SITUATED within the Taieri County on the No. 1 State Highway at Otokia at two points adjacent to entrance to Wallace property, more particularly indicated on plan TT. 1441 deposited in the office of the Transport Department at Wellington.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a site for a courthouse to a reserve for a site for Plunket rooms and women’s rest rooms and, further, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Waihi, in trust, for that purpose.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve to Recreation Purposes and Addition of the Reserve to the Moana Domain

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a site for public building of the General Government to a reserve for recreation purposes and, further, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Moana Domain to be administered as a public domain by the domain board.
