Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line
of a Further Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway
(Lower Hutt Valley Duplication)

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 30th day of July 1948, published in Gazette, 5 August 1948, Volume II, at page 975, and registered as No. 3923, Wellington Land Registry, defining the middle line of a further portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley duplication) in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 7·27 perches situated in the Borough of Upper Hutt, Wellington R.D., being part Lot 1, D.P. 4616, and part Lot 3, D.P. 3685, being part Section 142, Hutt District. All certificate of title, Volume 556, folio 1, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of February 1964.

Revoking Proclamation of Land in the Gisborne Land District
as a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the proclamation, dated the 27th day of March 1959 and published in the Gazette, 2 April 1959, No. 20, page 410, proclaiming and declaring the land described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the Gisborne-East Coast Acclimatisation District (now Rotorua Acclimatisation District) for the purpose of the said Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT—WAIKOHU COUNTY

SECTION 5, Block XVI, Motu Survey District; Area, 1,018 acres 2 roods 21 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 113, folio 228, Gisborne Land Registry. River Bank Reserve, being Crown land reserved from sale under section 110 of the Land Act 1892: Area, 4 acres. Total area: 1,022 acres 2 roods 21 perches. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked I.A. 52/469 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 17th day of February 1964.

The Camp Bay Cemetery Closing Order 1964

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Camp Bay Cemetery Closing Order 1964.
  2. It is hereby directed that the Camp Bay Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued after the 30th day of September 1964.
  3. It is hereby declared that the Camp Bay Cemetery shall vest, on the 1st day of October 1964, in the Mount Herbert County Council as a closed cemetery for maintenance in good order as a public reserve.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing 3 roods, more or less, being Reserve 5179 (formerly part Reserve 62A), situated in Block I, Pigeon Bay Survey District; as shown on plan marked 191/2/768, held in the office of the Department of Health, at Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plan 10235).

The Kohekohe Cemetery Order 1964

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 3rd day of February 1964

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Kohekohe Cemetery Order 1964.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1964.
  2. The Franklin County Council is hereby appointed to be the trustee of the Kohekohe Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, and shall have the control and management of that cemetery under and for the purposes of the Cemeteries Act 1908.
  3. (1) The delegation to the Franklin County Council of the powers of appointing and removing trustees of the said cemetery made by Order in Council dated the 18th day of September 1933* is hereby revoked.
    (2) The said Order in Council is hereby accordingly amended by omitting from the second column of the Schedule the word “Kohekohe” where it appears opposite the reference to the Franklin County Council in the first column of the Schedule.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 1 acre, more or less, being Allotment 302, Parish of Waipipi, situated in Block VIII, Awhitu Survey District; as shown on plan marked 191/2/67 held in the office of the Department of Health, Wellington, and thereon edged red, which plan is a copy of Survey Office Plan 2017.
