Directing the Sale of a Leasehold Estate in Land in the City of Nelson

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Maori Trustee by Her Majesty the Queen for a public works depot for a term of 21 years from the 1st day of July 1955, the leasehold estate in the land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 185 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Greymouth Harbour Board to reclaim from the sea in Sawyers Creek, Greymouth Harbour, all the land containing 19 acres 2 roods 36 perches, more or less, coloured pink on plan marked M.D. 11857 deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, provided that the construction of the reclamation is carried out in accordance with plan marked M.D. 11857 deposited in the said office of the Marine Department and in the manner prescribed by the said Act; the works authorised by this order to be completed within a period of 12 years from the date of this order.
