WYNDHAM TOWN COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wyndham Town Council at a meeting of the council held on the third day of November 1964, resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £15,000 authorised to be raised by the Wyndham Town Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of erecting a Memorial Hall and Library at Wyndham, the said council hereby makes a special rate of 5·151d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Wyndham Town District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———

Electricity Extension Loan 1964, £300,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of three hundred thousand pounds (£300,000) authorised to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the distribution system and electrical reticulation of the council’s electricity undertaking, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of sixty-nine five hundredths of a penny (69/100d.) in the pound (£·000575) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable on demand during the currency of the said loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held on the 2nd day of December 1964, passed the above resolution.

WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL

REDEMPTION LOAN 1964, £1,750
———

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in accordance with an Order in Council issued in Wellington and dated the 28th day of October 1964, that consent has been given to the borrowing of the above sum of £1,750 by the Waipawa Borough Council.

The security for the loan shall be a special rate of 0·4726d. in the £ made and levied upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Waipawa.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

SPECIAL ORDER

Airport Loan No. 1, 1964, £2,500,000: 1st Issue £200,000

THE Auckland Regional Authority in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, sections 40 and 41, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it in that behalf doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a special order to borrow the sum of £200,000 as a special loan to be known as the Airport Loan No. 1, 1964, £2,500,000; 1st Issue £200,000 for the purpose of meeting part of the Authority’s portion of the cost of the Auckland International Airport.

The foregoing special order was made by way of a special resolution passed at a special meeting of the authority held on the 16th day of October 1964. It was publicly notified in the Auckland Star on the 24th day of October and the 7th day of November 1964, and confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the authority held on the 20th day of November 1964.

The Common Seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was hereto affixed this 20th day of November 1964.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
———

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road being portion of Papakura-Hunua Road, at Hunua Quarry, within the County of Franklin and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk to the said council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by, and who have well grounded objections to, the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the 9th day of December 1964, being the day of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.
