Branch).

Thirdly, all that area situated in Lake County and Matukituki
Survey District containing 3,700 acres, more or less, bounded by a
line commencing at the easternmost corner of Run 715, Matukituki
Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly along the north-
eastern boundary of that run to the south-eastern boundary of the
provisional State forest and north-easterly along that boundary to
the northern boundary of the Matukituki Survey District; thence
along that northern boundary to the north-western corner of Run
337; thence generally southerly along that boundary to the point
of commencement.

Fourthly, all that area situated in Lake County and Forbeside
Survey District containing 850 acres, more or less, bounded by a
line commencing at the junction of the left bank of the Arawata
River with the bush edge of the provisional State forest at William-
son Flat and proceeding generally south-westerly along the north-
western boundary of the provisional State forest and its production
to the right bank of the Joe River; thence generally north-easterly
along that right bank to the left bank of the Arawata River; thence
north-westerly along a right line to the junction of the right bank
of that river with the bush edge of the provisional State forest;
thence easterly along that bush edge to the point of commencement.

Fifthly, all that area situated in Lake County and Humboldt
Survey District containing 750 acres, more or less, on the Dart
River, and enclosed by provisional State forest.

Sixthly, all that area situated in Lake County and Humboldt
Survey District containing 100 acres, more or less, on the Beans-
burn, and enclosed by provisional State forest.

Seventhly, all that area situated in Lake County and Humboldt
Survey District containing 200 acres, more or less, on the Forgotten
River, and enclosed by provisional State forest.

Eighthly, all that area situated in Lake County and Dart, Upper
Wakatipu, and Greenstone Survey Districts containing 21,153
acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-
western corner of Run 716, at Upper Peak, and proceeding generally
southerly along the western boundaries of that run and Run 717
being the leading ridge of the Humboldt Mountains, to the northern
boundary of Run 417 and westerly along that boundary to the
generally eastern boundary of the provisional State forest; thence
generally northerly, westerly, and southerly along the generally
eastern, northern, and western boundaries of the provisional State
forest to the northern boundary of Run 417 and westerly along that
boundary and the northern boundary of Run 418 to the eastern
boundary of Fiordland National Park approximately 25 chains
southwards of the southern end of Lake McKellar; thence generally
northerly along the eastern boundary of Fiordland National Park
to Ocean Peak in Dart Survey District; thence along the southern
boundary of the Routeburn Scenic Reserve to the point of com-
mencement. And including the beds and waters of all internal
rivers, streams, lakes, and Crown land reserved from sale pursuant
to section 58, Land Act 1948, but excluding all public roads.

As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 4/1068 and 4/1068A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at
Wellington, under No. 3125, and thereon edged blue.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

Crown Land Subject to the Provisions of the Land Act 1948

ALL that area in the Westland Land District, County of Westland,
containing 195,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line com-
mencing at the south-eastern corner of Block XVI, Macfarlane
Survey District; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the
said Block XVI to the south-western corner of Block XIII, Jackson
Survey District; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of
Blocks XIII, XIV, and XV, Jackson Survey District to the south-
western corner of Block XVI, Jackson Survey District; thence
northerly along the western boundaries of Blocks XVI, XII, VIII,
and IV, Jackson Survey District, and Blocks XVI, XII, and VIII,
Arawata Survey District to the southern-most corner of part
Reserve 1718 (provisional State forest); thence north-easterly
along the south-eastern boundary of the said Reserve and its
production to the right bank of the Waiatoto River situated in
Block IV, Arawata Survey District; thence south-easterly generally
along that bank to the south-eastern side of a public road situated
in Block VIII, Arawata Survey District; thence north-easterly
generally along the south-eastern side of the said road to the south-
eastern boundary of Pastoral Licence No. 1014 (being Run No. 96
comprised in certificate of title, Volume 50, folio 7, Westland
Registry), situated in Block IV, Arawata Survey District; thence
north-easterly generally along the said boundary and its production
to the right bank of the Turnbull River situated in Block XIV,
Okuru Survey District; thence south-easterly generally along that
bank to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Rural
Section 490 situated in Block II, Turnbull Survey District; thence
north-easterly to and along that boundary and north-westerly
along the north-eastern boundary of the said section to the northern
boundary of Block II, Turnbull Survey District; thence easterly
along the northern boundaries of Blocks II, III, and IV, Turnbull
Survey District to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned
Block; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that block
to its south-eastern corner; thence easterly along the northern
boundaries of Blocks V, VI, VII, and VIII, Governors Pass Survey
District, and Block V, Haast Pass Survey District to the north-
western side of a public road; thence south-westerly generally along
that roadside to a point in line with the western boundary of
Pastoral Licence 1010 (being Run 87 comprised in certificate of
title, Volume 50, folio 6, Westland Registry); thence southerly
generally to and along that boundary to the summit of the main
divide of the Southern Alps, situated on the south-western boundary
of Block XII, Governors Pass Survey District; thence south-
westerly generally along the summit of the said Main Divide to the
summit of Mount Aspiring situated on the south-western boundary
of Block II, Mount Aspiring Survey District; thence north-westerly
along the south-western boundaries of Blocks II and I, Mount
Aspiring Survey District to the point of commencement, excluding
there from all legal roads and all the land in Lease No. S - 9 (being
the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 50, folio 74,
Westland Registry), and those parts of the land in Pastoral Occupa-
tion Licence No. 0 - 7 (being Run Nos. 24 and 95, comprised in
certificate of title, volume 50, folio 46, Westland Registry) and
Lease No. S - 7 (being the land comprised in certificate of title,
Volume 50, folio 75, Westland Registry) as fall within the above
described boundaries.

in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Welling-
ton, under No. 3125 and thereon edged red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 30th day of
November 1964

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended
by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Rutherford High
    School Board of Governors Order 1964.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
    June 1965.

  2. The constitution of the Board of Governors of Ruther-
    ford High School, prescribed by the Te Atatu Post-primary
    School Board of Governors Order 1960,* is hereby varied so
    that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in section 90
    of the Education Act 1914, the school shall be controlled by
    a Board of Governors constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education
Board;

(b) Six members (of whom at least two shall be women)
elected by the parents of the pupils attending the
school;

(c) One member appointed by Waitemata County Council;

(d) One member appointed by the Commanding Officers
of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Stations at
Hobsonville and Whenuapai;

(e) One member to be co-opted by the Board of Governors
itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  1. The Te Atatu Post-primary School Board of Governors
    Order 1960* is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby grants
to the Kaikoura County Council (hereinafter called the
Council) control of the foreshore as described in the First
Schedule hereto, subject to the terms and conditions set forth
in the Second Schedule hereto.

DESCRIPTION OF AREA

ALL that portion of the foreshore adjoining mean high-water
mark of the South Pacific Ocean fronting Section 39, Block
XI, Mount Fyffe Survey District; as the same is shown
delineated in green on plan M.D. 11352, and deposited in the
office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
