Agreement for Grant of Easement in Favour of New Zealand Theatres Ltd., Over Land in the City of Wellington, Taken for an Automatic Telephone Exchange, Assented to
WHEREAS by a notice dated the 29th day of July 1964, and published in Gazette, 13 August 1964, No. 49, page 1294, an area of land containing 0.95 of a perch, situated in the City of Wellington, was taken for an automatic telephone exchange: And whereas, New Zealand Theatres Ltd., a company incorporated under the Companies Act 1955, and having its registered office at Auckland, being the registered proprietor of the said land at the date the said notice took effect, is entitled to receive compensation for its interest in the said land: And whereas the Minister of Works agreed to grant, and the said New Zealand Theatres Ltd. agreed to accept, a right of way over part of the said land, namely 0.35 of a perch of the said land in part satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid: Now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.
