MINING ACT 1926
APPLICATION FOR A WATER RACE
AwATAIERI FARM LTD., a duly registered company carrying
on business at Ranfurly, as a farmer, hereby gives notice
that application has been made for a licence for a water
race to divert 3 heads of water for irrigation and stock
water purposes, commencing at a point on the river bank
reserve of the Taieri River, approximately 50 chains north-
east from the point where the boundary line between Sections
5 and 6, Block X, Maniototo District, meets the said river
bank reserve; thence for a distance of approximately 150
yd in a north-westerly direction passing into the said Section
6, Block X, and terminating therein. The said Section 6
being freehold land owned by the applicant.
The application and all objections thereto will be heard on
Monday the 7th day of December 1964, at 10 a.m., at the
Wardens Court, Cromwell, and all objections must be filed
in the Registrar's Office and notified to the applicant or its
solicitors at least three days before the time so appointed.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be
received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the
day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 1s. per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing)
subscription Β£3 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and
1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
