PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Palmerston North City
Council is considering consenting to the following departure
pursuant to regulation 33 of the Town and Country Planning
Regulations.
"To permit shops to be erected at No. 96 College Street,
which adjoins the present service station and block of shops."
Any person or persons objecting to or supporting the pro-
possl or requiring modification thereto, must submit his or
their objections in writing to the council by 4 p.m., on
11 December 1964.

EAST COAST BAYS BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution
of the East Coast Bays Borough Council, the council has
recommended that the Operative District Scheme be changed
in respect of the matter listed in the Schedule hereto. The
change of the district scheme as now recommended by council
is available for inspection at the council office, Clyde Road,
Brown's Bay, during office hours.
Objections to the proposed change may be made in the
form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and
Country Planning Regulations 1960, and marked "Objection
to Scheme Change" and lodged at the office of the Town
Clerk not later than 11 January 1965. The forms for use
by objectors are available at the Town Clerk's office.
At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any
objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing
of objections, if he notifies council in writing, within a period
of which public notice will be given.

UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
District Scheme Changes Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Act 1953
and the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960,
public notice is hereby given of the subject matter of an
application consented to by the Town and Country Planning
Appeal Board as stated hereunder:
Under Section 35 of the above-mentioned Act:
Applicant: New Zealand Breweries Ltd.
Terms of Consent: Specified departure permitting the appli-
cant to use the whole of the land known as Quinn's Post
Hotel fronting Ward Street in the Borough of Upper Hutt
and which is more particularly described in the Schedule
hereto for the purpose of a licensed hotel, licensed motel,
off-street parking area, and ancillary purposes in accordance
with Site Plan 15.229 which plan is attached to the original
of the decision, notwithstanding that, save for Lots 7 and 8
which are zoned Commercial A in which zone the use is a
predominant use, the balance of the land is zoned residential
and shall remain so zoned and by permitting the applicant
to dispense with the requirement that a verandah be erected
around the perimeter of any building on the said land as
prescribed by clause 3, of Ordinance VII, of the Code of
Ordinances of the Upper Hutt Borough Council.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land comprising four acres three roods
seven decimal seven one perches (4a. 3r. 7'71ps.), more
or less, situate in the Borough of Upper Hutt, being part of
Section 94, of the Hutt District, and being also Lots 1 to
10 inclusive, and balance Lot 26, on Deposited Plan No.
9348, and being the balance of the land described in cer-
tificate of title, Volume 348, folio 287 (Wellington Registry).
Effective date: 30 October 1964.

DECLARATION
In conformity with the above Act, I, Ernest Bissett, General
Manager of The Guardian Trust and Executors Co. of New
Zealand Ltd., do solemnly and sincerely declare:

  1. That the liability of the members is limited. The capital
    of the Company is £100,000 fully paid, divided into 20,000
    shares of £5 each.
    The assets of the company in its corporate capacity on
    the 30th day of June last were £238,762.
    The liabilities of the company in its corporate capacity on
    that day were £5,245.
    The first annual licence was issued on the 10th day of
    March 1911.
  2. That, in the capacity of Trustees and Executors, the
    amount of moneys received on account of estates up to the
    30th day of June last was £124,380,019.
    The amount of moneys paid on account of estates up to that
    day was £123,792,676.
    The amount of balances held in trust accounts at various
    banks on account of estates under administration on that day
    was £587,343.
  3. And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously be-
    lieving the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions
    of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled
    the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957.

    Change of City of Auckland District Scheme
    PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of
    the council made on 9 November 1964, the council has
    recommended that the Operative District Scheme be changed
    in respect of the matters Listed in the Schedule hereto. The
    changes of the district scheme, as now recommended by the
    council, have been deposited in the Town Hall (Town
    Planning Division), the Central Library, and each of the
    branch libraries, namely Avondale, Epsom, Grafton, Grey
    Lynn, Parnell, Point Chevalier, Remuera, Glen Innes, Tamaki,
    and Leys Institute, for inspection by all persons interested
    therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are
    open to the public.
    Objection to the proposed changes of the district scheme
    may be made by way of written notice in form E prescribed
    in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning
    Regulations 1960, or to the like effect marked "objection to
    scheme change" and lodged in the office of the council at any
    time not later than 22 January 1965. An appropriate form
    for use by objectors is available from the Town Hall or from
    the libraries. At a later date every objection will be open for
    public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or
