WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND GRAVEL PIT AND TO CLOSE ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wanganui County Council acting under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes to execute the following public works:
-
To take land for a road and for the purpose of such work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
-
To take land for a gravel pit and for the purpose of such work the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
-
To close the road over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto.
Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken for the said public works and of the road to be closed is deposited in the offices of Messrs Armstrong, Barton, Latham, and Hankins, Solicitors, 16 Wicksteed Place, Wanganui, and is open for inspection by all persons during office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of such lands or the closing of such road who have any objection thereto must state their objection in writing and deliver it to the Clerk of the Wanganui County Council at the Council Chambers, Campbell Place, Wanganui, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice.

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE AN EASEMENT OVER LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Levin (hereinafter referred to as “the corporation”), proposes to take for water works an easement over the land described in the Schedule hereto vesting in the said corporation full and free right and liberty forever to maintain without hindrance a line of water pipes through and under the land and to use such water pipes for the purpose of conveying water; and granting unto the corporation full and free right and liberty for itself its surveyors, workmen, agents, employees, servants, and licensees from time to time and at all times to open up, remove, or replace the said water pipes as often as occasion shall require for the purpose of inspecting, cleansing, amending, renewing, or repairing the said pipes and/or maintaining the same in good and satisfactory repair order and condition.
Notice is hereby given that a plan of the said land is open for inspection at the offices of the Town Clerk, Bath Street, Levin. All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to set forth in writing any well grounded objections to the taking of such easement and to send such writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Bath Street, Levin.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments, notice is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain work, namely, the construction and formation of a recreation ground passing through or adjoining the parcels of land referred to in the Schedule hereunder and situated adjoining Manly Park, at Big Manly Beach, in Whangaparaoa Riding of the County of Waitemata, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk of the said council situated in the Council Chambers, 199 Karangahape Road, Auckland, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands who have any objections to the proposal and wishing them to be considered must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

ROXBURGH BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Roxburgh propose under the provisions of the above Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the erection of a town clock and laying out a pleasure ground and garden; and for the purposes of that public work the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
Every person affected must set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the said works or to the taking of the land, and send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Ferry Road, Roxburgh.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situated at the corner of Scotland Street and Ferry Road, in the Borough of Roxburgh, containing 3·77 perches, more or less, being Allotment 1, Deposited Plan 4309, and being also part Section 1, Block VIII, Town of Roxburgh, and being also all the land in certificate of title, Dunedin Register Book, Volume 256, folio 264.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road, viz: Tuakau-Pokeno Road at the new Whangarata Overbridge, within the County of Franklin and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk of the said council situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by, and who have well grounded objections to, the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the 11th day of November 1964, being the day of the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk, at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.
