In the Supreme Court of New Zealand No. M. 242/64
Wellington District
(Wellington Registry):
IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Leon Harper Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Wellington, notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 2nd day of November 1964, presented to the said Court by R. and E. Tingey and Co. Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Wellington, and Jones Timber Co. Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Wellington; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wellington on the 2nd day of December 1964, at 10 a.m., and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

The notice must state the name, address, and description of the person or, if a firm, the name, address, and description of the firm, and an address for service within 3 miles of the office of the Supreme Court at Wellington, and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner’s address for service not later than 4 p.m. on the 1st day of December 1964.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Roading Improvement Redemption Loan 1964, £5,900
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £5,900 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Roading Improvement Loan 1952, £16,000, which matures on 1 February 1965, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of ½d. in the £ upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in County of Rotorua; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution of the Rotorua County Council, passed on the 10th day of November 1964.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Ngongotaha Water Supply Redemption Loan 1964, £10,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Ngongotaha Water Supply Loan 1952, £17,000, which matures on 1 February 1965, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 1⅓d. in the £ upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in County Town of Ngongotaha; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution of the Rotorua County Council, passed on the 10th day of November 1964.

Plant Loan 1964, £130,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £130,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing plant, the said Manukau County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two nought four pence (0·204d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the County of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I, Ronald Wood, County Clerk of the Manukau County Council, hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manukau County Council held on the 10th day of November 1964.

Bridges Loan 1964, £110,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of £110,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of bridge replacements and the construction of new bridges including bridge approaches within the County of Manukau, the said Manukau County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nine two pence (0·092d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the County of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan No. 2, 1964
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,700 authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council under the above Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Bridges Replacement Loan No. 2, 1950, which matures on 1 February 1965, the Rangitikei County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·038544 pence in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Rangitikei; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on 1 August in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held on 12 November 1964.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kawakawa Town Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £1,000 authorised to be raised by the Kawakawa Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a fire station, the said Kawakawa Town Council hereby makes a special rate of one and nine-sixteenth pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Town District of Kawakawa; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Kawakawa Town Council held on the 9th day of November 1964.
