ROXBURGH BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Staff Housing Loan No. 2, 1964, of £4,300

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Roxburgh Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,300 authorised to be raised by the Roxburgh Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of purchasing land and an existing house for council staff, the said Roxburgh Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of two and one-half (2½d.) pence in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of annual value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Roxburgh, comprising the whole of the Borough of Roxburgh; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Roxburgh Borough Council at a meeting held on the 28th day of October 1964.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Property Purchase Renewal Loan 1964, £9,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of nine thousand pounds (£9,000) authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for repayment of £9,000 borrowed for property purchase purposes, due and payable on the 15th day of December 1964, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two five four pence in the pound (0·0254d. in the £) upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being for a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Passed at a meeting of council held on the 3rd day of November 1964.

BRUCE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1964, £50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bruce County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Bruce County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the council hereby makes a special rate of one-twelfth (1/12) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Bruce; and that the rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly as the payments fall due in each and every half year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

SOUTHIAAND HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan No. 2, 1964

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Southland Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of £58,200 authorised to be raised by the Southland Harbour Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of Loan No. 14, 1952, £3,536,000 which matures on 19 November 1964, by conversion thereof and by cash application, the said South-

conversion thereof and by cash application, the said Southland Harbour Board hereby makes a special rate of 0·00581 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the Southland Harbour District, as constituted by the Bluff Harbour Empowering Act 1949, being part of the rate authorised by section 8 of the Bluff Harbour Improvement Act 1952; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 19th day of May and the 19th day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Southland Harbour Board held on the 3rd day of November 1964.

BOROUGH OF MOUNT ALBERT

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Mount Albert Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a public work, namely, to develop land for housing purposes; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said council situate at 615 New North Road, Mount Albert, Auckland, and is open for inspection without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected shall set forth in writing any objection they may wish to make to the execution of the works or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and shall send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of the notice to the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, 615 New North Road, Mount Albert, Auckland S.W. 1.

SCHEDULE

ALL the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 762, folio 69, North Auckland Land Registry, containing one acre one rood seventeen decimal three perches (1a. 1r. 17·3p.), more or less, being Lot 10, on Deeds Plan S71, sheet 3, and being part of Allotment 29, of Section 5, Suburbs of Auckland, situated in School Road, Morningside.

MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, notice is hereby given that the Manawatu County Council intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of housing. A plan of the said lands is deposited at the public office of the Manawatu County Council, at Sanson, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands and to send such writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the clerk of the Manawatu County Council.

ONE rood (1rd.) being Section 205, Town of Rongotea, on Deposited Plan No. 160, situated in Block VIII, Te Kawau Survey District (Wellington Registry).
