TAURANGA HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan 1964

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £14,300 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga Harbour Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying portion of the first issue of the Harbour Loan 1957, the said Tauranga Harbour Board hereby makes a special rate of one four hundred and fiftieth (1/450th) of a penny in the pound (£1) on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Tauranga Harbour District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable annually on the 28th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Tauranga Harbour Board at a special meeting held on 28 September 1964, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting held on 28 October 1964.
