Appointment of Honorary Child Welfare Officers Under the
Child Welfare Act 1925
Pursuant to section 2 of the Child Welfare Act 1925, the
Minister of Education hereby appoints:
Leonard, Mr F. H., Cambridge,
Roe, Rev. Gordon Galloway, Kaikoura,
Akuhata, Mrs Whitiaira, Waimana, and
Te Puawhe, Rev. Kihora, Taneatua
to be Honorary Child Welfare Officers for the purpose of the said Act.

Pursuant to section 4 of the Police Act 1958, His Excellency
the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
George Colin Urquhart, B.E.M.
to be an Assistant Commissioner of Police on and from 20
October 1964.

Kurow in Waitaki County is hereby revoked - The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are
hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the
purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962. - The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are
hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes
of the Traffic Regulations 1956.
