Appointment to Hear Appeals Under the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act 1959

PURSUANT to subsection (5) of section 18 of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act 1959, I, Josiah Ralph Hanan, Minister of Justice, hereby appoint Nowell Montgomerie Izard, Esquire, Stipendiary Magistrate, of Hamilton, to hear all such appeals as are referred to in that subsection excluding every appeal to be heard and determined by the Land Valuation Court, and hereby revoke all previous appointments made under that subsection.

Appointment of Wairoa County Council to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints

the Wairoa County Council

to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a scenic reserve.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 1, Block II, Opoti Survey District: Area, 31 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, and Section 5, Block VI, Opoti Survey District: Area, 6 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less. Total area 38 acres 3 roods, more or less (S.O. Plan 2186).

Appointment of the Te Puke Borough Council to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints

the Te Puke Borough Council

to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for scenic purposes.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—OTAWA SCENIC RESERVE

SECTIONS 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, and 14, Block I, and part Section 28, Block V, Maketu Survey District. Part Otawa No. 2 Block, and parts of Waitaha or Otawa No. 1B 1, No. 1B 2, and No. 1B 3 Blocks, situated in Blocks I and V, Maketu Survey District: Area, 1,192 acres and 7 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 4/9A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plans 30028 and 30418).
