Objections to the change of the scheme shall be in writing
in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and
Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at
the office of the council at any time not later than the 4th
day of December 1964. At a later date every objection will
be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to
support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard
at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in
writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Notice of Intention to Take Leasehold Estate Land for
Purposes of Operative District Scheme
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the Borough of Levin require to take the lease-
hold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto pur-
suant to the powers contained in the Public Works Act 1928
and the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The land is
required for the proper development or use thereof in accord-
ance with the District Operative Scheme in force relating
thereto under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Notice is hereby given that a plan of the said land is
open for inspection during office hours at the offices of Levin
Borough Council, Bath Street, Levin.
All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to
set out in writing any objection which they may wish to make
to the taking of the said leasehold estate in the said
land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation, and to send such written objection within
40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town
Clerk, Council Chambers, Bath Street, Levin.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing ten acres and six perches
(10a. Or. 6p.), more or less, situate in Hokio Beach Road in
the Borough of Levin, being Section 46 of the Horowhenua
Settlement, and being the whole of the land comprised and
described in leasehold certificate of title, Volume Cl, folio
202 (Wellington Registry), the same being held under lease
from Her Majesty the Queen registered as Volume 6A, folio
236 (Wellington Registry).

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and
1939-42 are out of print.)
