Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being Provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 24th day of March 1924, and published in Gazette, 3 April 1924, Volume I, page 802, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Section 1, Block IX, Russell Survey District: Area, 259 acres 3 roods, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 10/91/71, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plan 44545).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of October 1964.

Revoking a Proclamation Declaring Areas in the Wellington Acclimatisation District as a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation issued on the 3rd day of September 1957, and published in the Gazette of 12 September 1957, at page 1640, declaring areas in the Wellington Acclimatisation District as wildlife refuges, for the purposes of the said Wildlife Act 1953, in so far as the said Proclamation relates to Lakes Kawhakahaia and Totara, being the areas described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
LAKES Kawhakahaia and Totara and a strip of surrounding land, County of Horowhenua, Wellington Land District: All that area in the Wellington Land District situated in Block V, Kaitawa Survey District, being the lakes known as Kawhakahaia Lake and Totara Lake and the land bounded by lines parallel to and 5 chains distant from the shores of the said lakes, all being part Subdivisions 1B 3 and 1A, of Kukutauaki No. 1 Block, and part Subdivisions 36 and 38, of Ngarara West A Block. As the same is more particularly shown on plan marked I.A. 52/308 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Land Taken for a Public School in Block XIII Lyndon Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of October 1964.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre situated in Block XIII, Lyndon Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being part Section 303, Square 84, Amuri. All certificate of title, Volume 408, folio 260, Canterbury Land Registry (limited as to parcels and title).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of September 1964.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public hall and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Otamatea, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of October 1964.
