MINING ACT 1926

APPLICATION FOR A WATER RACE

ROBERT John Gibson, the elder, of Gimmerburn, farmer,
hereby gives notice that he has applied for a licence
for a water race to divert ¼ head of water for domestic
purposes, commencing at a point on the Sowburn Stream in
Section 43, Block VII, Upper Taieri District, 50 yards north
of the point where the said Section 43, Section 68, Block
VII, of the said District and the Patearoa-Waipiata Road
meet; thence through the said Section 43 in a westerly
direction for 200 yards; thence south-west across the said
Waipiata-Patearoa Road into and terminating in Section 65,
Block VIII, of the said District. The said Section 43 being
held by Simon George Turner, of Patearoa, farmer, under a
renewable Crown lease and the said Section 65 being free-
hold land owned by the applicant.

The application and all objections thereto will be heard
on Wednesday the 11th day of November 1964, at 10 a.m.,
at the Wardens Court, Cromwell, and all objection must be
filed in the Registrar's office and notified to the applicant or
his solicitors at least three days before the time so appointed.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be
received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the
day preceding publication.

The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing)
subscription £3 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
