CORRIGENDUM

In a Gazette notice, dated 3 June 1964, and published in the Gazette of 11 June 1964, No. 35, page 966, declaring a drought affecting farming businesses for income tax purposes in the Rotorua, Taupo, and Whakatane Counties, for “Rotorua Survey District” read “Rotoma Survey District.”

TINUI Rabbit District Order 1963 (Notice No. Ag. 7781), Gazette, 1963, No. 34, p. 799, please read in line 40 from the top of the second column of the above notice “Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 11340”, in lieu of “Lots 2 and 2, D.P. 11340” appearing in the said notice.

Declaring Lands in Hawke’s Bay and Canterbury Land Districts Vested in the Hawke’s Bay and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.


FIRST SCHEDULE

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 82, Block XIV, Norsewood Survey District (formerly part Section 26): Area; 8 acres 2 roods 29·6 perches, more or less.

Provisional State Forest Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

SECTION 13, Block X, Tutamoe Survey District: Area, 480 acres, more or less. As shown on plan No. 8/50 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red (S.O. Plan 23123).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of October 1964.

Land Taken for an Aerodrome in Block III, Paritutu Survey District, Taranaki County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an aerodrome and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of New Plymouth as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 19th day of October 1964.
