1964, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·06d. in the pound (£) on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Te Atatu Riding; and that special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-four (24) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on the 1st day of October 1964.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Loan No. 1, 1964, £82,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £82,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the water reticulation in the Whenuapai and Hobsonville areas, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·046d. in the pound (£) on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Waitemata; and that special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on the 1st day of October 1964.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Naike Hall Loan 1964, £4,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,000 authorised to be raised by the Raglan County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of rebuilding the Naike Public Hall, the said Raglan County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal five six two of a penny (0·562d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Naike Special Rating Area comprising all the land described in the Naike Special Rating Roll; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Raglan County Council held on 28 September 1964.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridge Renewal Loan 1963, £22,300

NOTICE is hereby given that at an ordinary meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council held on the 12th day of August 1964, the following resolution was passed:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £22,300 raised by the Ohinemuri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the council’s share of the cost of renewing bridges, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·22d. in the £ (on the basis of unimproved value) on all rateable land in the whole of the County of Ohinemuri; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 21st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

KAIKOURA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Staff Housing Loan 1964, £4,250

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikoura County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the instalments of sinking fund payment of interest and other charges on the loan of four thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£4,250) authorised to be raised by the Kaikoura County Council pursuant to the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of building a staff house, the Kaikoura County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three hundredths (0·03d.) of a penny in the £1 on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all the rateable property in the County of Kaikoura; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan has been fully paid off.”

TARANAKI HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 2, 1964, £125,100

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Harbours Act 1950, and the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of all the powers and authorities it thereunto enabling, the Taranaki Harbour Board hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges payable in respect of the Taranaki Harbour Board Redemption Loan No. 2, 1964 of £125,100 authorised to be raised by the Board by the terms of the sanction made by the Local Authorities Loans Board on the 28th day of July 1964, with the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, published in the Gazette, of the 20th August 1964, No. 50, at page 11323, the board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property in the area described in the Third Schedule to the New Plymouth Harbour Board Empowering Act 1951, two-thirds of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property described in the Fourth Schedule to the New Plymouth Harbour Board Empowering Act 1951, and one-third of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property in the area described in the Fifth Schedule to the New Plymouth Harbour Board Empowering Act 1951, as amended by sections 6, 7, and 8 of the Taranaki Harbour Board Act 1954; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and until the said loan is fully paid off.”

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and to each and every power it thereunto enabling, the body corporate called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Dargaville, hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,000 described as Housing Loan 1964 and authorised to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a house for council staff, the said body corporate hereby makes a special rate of decimal one two three of a penny (0·123d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Dargaville on the basis of the unimproved value; such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
