Objections to the proposed changes may be made in the form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960 and marked “Objections to Scheme Change” and lodged at the office of the Town Clerk not later than the 20th day of November 1964. The forms for use by objectors are available at the Town Clerk’s office. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections, if he notifies Council in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

Proposed Changes to the City of Christchurch District Scheme
Section One (Zoning)
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to resolutions of the Christchurch City Council dated 20 July and 21 September 1964, it has been recommended that the Operative District Scheme be changed in respect of the matter listed in the Schedule hereunder. The changes of the district scheme as now recommended by the council are deposited in the council offices, 194 Manchester Street, the Public Library, in Cambridge Terrace, and may be inspected, without fee, during usual office hours.
Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme may be made in written notice on form E prescribed in the Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect marked “Objection to Scheme Change” and lodged at the offices of the council at any time not later than Thursday, 19 November 1964. An appropriate form for use by objectors is available at the council offices and at the Public Library.
At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the council in writing within a period of which public notices will be given.

PROPOSED CHANGE TO CODE OF ORDINANCES

Clause 10.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein contained, the council may consent to a subdivision which does not comply with the requirements of this ordinance.
(a) If such subdivision is a disposal of land for the purposes of a public work within the meaning of the Public Works Act 1928; or
(b) If the Council, having regard to all the relevant circumstances, is satisfied that the proposed subdivision will result in the most practical use of the land.

In the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 and in the matter of a certain charitable trust declared by the will of Mary Jane Joll, deceased, pursuant to the provisions of section 54 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, I hereby give notice that on Friday the 18th day of September 1964, the Supreme Court at Wellington, approved the scheme prepared by the Public Trustee, and dated the 14th day of July 1964, as reported upon by the Attorney-General in his report dated the 29th day of July 1964 concerning the matter of certain charitable trusts declared by the will of Mary Jane Joll, late of Wellington, in New Zealand, widow, deceased.

THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF SCHEME
In the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 and of the Judicature Act 1908; and in the matter of a Deed of Trust dated 31 July 1951, made between Doris Clifton Gordon, formerly of Stratford (deceased), the Guardian Trust and Executors Co. of New Zealand Ltd. (hereinafter called “the company”), and certain other persons.
Notice is hereby given pursuant to section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that an application has been made to the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at New Plymouth, for the approval of a scheme prepared by the company and the other trustees under the said Deed of Trust, providing for the disposal of all the property held by the company under the said Trust Deed for other charitable purposes, the particulars of such Scheme being as follows:
- Subject to the company being satisfied that:
(a) The Government has granted a subsidy towards the cost of altering the buildings included in the trust assets in order to make such buildings suitable for carrying out the objects of Manire Home Incorporated (herein called “the society”) such objects being to provide a home or homes for aged people both men and women irrespective of class or creed, who are in need of care but who do not regularly require nursing, and that a sum of not less than £5,000 has been raised by, or has otherwise become available to the society to assist it to carry out its objects:
(b) The company shall at the cost of the society transfer to the society absolutely and free from any trusts contained in the said Deed all property of any kind then held by the company under the said Deed including all lands buildings chattels and funds.
- The reasonable costs of preparing and advertising the scheme and of having it approved by the Court shall be paid out of the trust assets.
The date proposed for the hearing of the application is the 29th day of October 1964.
Any person desiring to oppose the scheme is required to give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar of the Supreme Court, at New Plymouth, the said Trustees (whose address for service of such written notice is at the office of Messrs Govett, Quilliam, and Co., Solicitors, Brougham Street, New Plymouth), and the Attorney-General of New Zealand not less than seven clear days before the said 29th day of October 1964.
