HAVELOCK NORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Havelock North Borough Council, held on the 21st day of January 1964, the following resolution was passed:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Havelock North Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £75,000 authorised to be raised by the Havelock North Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of enabling sewage to be disposed of by way of Hastings City's main trunk sewer, the said Havelock North Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal eight five (0·85) pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Havelock North; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

KAIKOURA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electricity Improvement Loan 1963, (£10,800)
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikoura County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of principal, payment of interest, and other charges on a loan of ten thousand eight hundred pounds (£10,800) authorised to be raised by the Kaikoura County Council pursuant to the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving the electrical reticulation in the Kaikoura and South Bay areas of the County, the Kaikoura County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ninety-four thousandths of a penny in the pound (0·094d.) on the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value of all the rateable property in the County of Kaikoura; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan has been fully paid off."
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a correct and true extract from the minutes of proceedings of a meeting of the Kaikoura County Council held on the 24th day of January 1964.

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan No. 2, 1963, £20,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of £20,000 to be known as the Renewal Loan No. 2, 1963, authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing for the repayment of part of the Reservoir Loan 1957, £262,000, due to be redeemed on 1 March 1964, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of nine hundred and seventy-eight thousandths of a penny (0·978d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of five years, or until such loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 27th day of January 1964.

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Storm-water Drainage Loan No. 1, 1963, £25,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of £25,000 to be known as the Storm-water Drainage Loan No. 1, 1963 authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of enlarging and realigning sections of the storm-water drain known as Whales Creek, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of eighty-eight thousandths of a penny (0·088d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 27th day of January 1964.

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Theatre Renovation Loan 1963, £11,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of £11,000 to be known as the Theatre Renovation Loan 1963 authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the alterations to and repair and renovation of the Theatre Royal, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of forty-three thousandths of a penny (0·043d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 16 years, or until such loan is fully paid off."
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 27th day of January 1964.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road within the County of Franklin; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by and who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the 5th day of February 1964, being the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
Public notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road, for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928. A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.
