Amendment of Foreshore Licence

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence of 15 June 1960,* authorising Skeggs Fisheries Ltd. to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the harbour at Karitane, by inserting after the symbols “M.D. 10756” the symbols “and M.D. 11655”.

Declaring Area Exempt From Portions of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962

PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962, the Minister of Marine hereby declares that, for a period two years from the date hereof, subject to compliance with the conditions set out in the Second Schedule hereto, the area of water described in the First Schedule hereto shall be exempt from regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water 6 chains up the Manuherikia River from its confluence with Lake Roxburgh.

SECOND SCHEDULE

1. On each bank at the edge of the river at its confluence with Lake Roxburgh and at the upstream limit of the area described in the First Schedule hereto there shall be placed two notice boards. A further one shall be placed at the site where boats are launched from. These notices shall measure not less than 2ft 6in. by 2ft and shall be painted white with black letters.

2. The aforesaid notice boards shall contain the following notice:

“NOTICE

Motor Launch Regulations 1962

Bathers and fishermen are warned that there are no speed restrictions for launches and water skiers between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily in that area of water 6 chains up the Manuherikia River from its confluence with Lake Roxburgh.”

Authorising Hugh Cameron McRae to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Kaipara Harbour as Sites for Oyster Plots

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Hugh Cameron McRae (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Kaipara Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11698 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon oyster plots as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be seven years from the 1st day of December 1963.

3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be £5 and the annual sum so payable £10.

Authorising Kenneth Douglas Roadley and Halley Staunton Roadley to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Kaipara Harbour at Batley as Sites for Experimental Oyster Plots

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Kenneth Douglas Roadley and Halley Staunton Roadley (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Kaipara Harbour at Batley, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11626 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon oyster plots as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
