Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block X, Ngamatea Survey District, for Road (Taiawa Culvert Approaches on the Wanganui-Raetihi Section of the No. 4 State Highway)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road, and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Wanganui and is there open for inspection, and that every person affected by the taking of the land should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such works or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres and 9·3 perches situated in Block X, Ngamatea Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Ohotu 6D 2B; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18091 (S.O. 25664) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XIII, Lyndon Survey District, for a Public School

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for a public school; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Waiau and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of such land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing, and send such written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre situated in Block XIII, Lyndon Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being part Section 303, Square 84, Amuri, and being that block of land at the north-east corner of Parnassus and Clarence Streets in the Township of Waiau, having frontages of 400 links and 250 links to those streets respectively. All certificate of title, Volume 408, folio 260, Canterbury Land Registry (limited as to parcels and title); as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18112 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Notice of Intention to Take an Easement Over Land in Block B, Otakou Native Reserve, for a Public School

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take a pipeline easement for a public school over part of the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen, first, the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain, in the position delineated by the interrupted line coloured blue on the plan annexed hereto and thereon marked “pipeline”, a line of pipes under, along, and over the said land, and to use the said line of pipes for the unimpeded conveyance of water, and secondly, full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen, from time to time and at all times hereafter, to go, pass, or repass, with or without horses and vehicles, over the land described in the Schedule hereto for the maintenance and repair of the said pipeline; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land over which the easement is to be taken is deposited in the post office at Portobello and is there open for inspection; and that any person affected by the taking of the said easement should set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of such easement, not being an objection to the amount of compensation, and send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

THOSE portions of the land hereunder described shown on plan, being Sections 12, 12A, 12B, and 13, Block B, Otakou Native Reserve; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18088 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Birkenhead Borough District Scheme (Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Birkenhead Borough Council in the interests of the Birkenhead Borough District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of February 1965 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of February 1965.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Franklin County District Scheme (Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions)

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Franklin County Council in the interests of the Franklin County District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of February 1965 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of February 1965.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the local authorities listed in the Schedule hereto in the interests of their respective district schemes, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of February 1965 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of February 1965.

Amendment of Foreshore Licence

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby amends the licence of 19 September 1962,* vesting the management of a jetty and slipway at Karitane in Leonard Edward Anderson, Peter Francis Curtin, and Leslie Hororata Kent, as trustees for the fishermen of the district, by inserting after the symbols “M.D. 8545” the symbols “and M.D. 11655”.
