WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and the Housing Improvement Act 1945, notice is hereby given that the Wanganui City Council proposes under the provisions of section 17 of the Housing Improvement Act 1945 and the Public Works Act 1928, to acquire the lands firstly described in the Schedule hereto, and under the provisions of section 327 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, to acquire the lands secondly described in the Schedule hereto, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in St. Hill Street, Wanganui, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the taking of the said lands who have any well founded objections to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the City Council Chambers, St. Hill Street, Wanganui.
SCHEDULE
LANDS FIRSTLY DESCRIBED
ALL that piece of land containing nine decimal eight six (9.86) perches, being Lot 1, on Deposited Plan 7663, part Suburban Section 23, Town of Wanganui, and all land in certificate of title, Volume 170, folio 226 (Wellington Registry).
LANDS SECONDLY DESCRIBED
ALL that piece of land containing one (1) rood, more or less, being Lot 61, Township of Balgownie, and all land in certificate of title, Volume 130, folio 105 (Wellington Registry).

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Naike Special Rating Area taken on the 19th day of September 1964, on the proposal of the above-named Local Authority to raise a loan of £4,000, to be known as the Naike Hall Loan 1964, for the purpose of rebuilding the Naike Public Hall, resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 79 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 48 The number of informal votes was Nil
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Martinborough taken on the 12th day of September 1964, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £4,000 to be known as the "Housing Loan 1964, £4,000" for the purpose of purchasing a building section and erecting thereon a dwelling and garage, resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 116 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 118 The number of informal votes was 5
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Changes to the City of Auckland District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the City of Auckland were approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on 14 September 1964.
The Council has also resolved that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme shall come into operation on 25 September 1964, by which date certified correct copies of the scheme changes, as approved, will be deposited in the Council's office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

RAETIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Raetihi District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Borough of Raetihi was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 23rd day of June 1964, after all objections, appeals, and arbitration relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of October 1964.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office and public library and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.
