RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 16, 1964, £63,600
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of sixty-three thousand six hundred pounds (£63,600) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 16, 1964, £63,600, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purposes of repaying on maturity that portion of the Waterworks Feeder Mains Loan 1956, £410,000 which matures on 1 October 1964, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twelfth of one penny (¹⁄₁₂ of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Redemption Loan No. 18, 1964, £54,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of fifty-four thousand pounds (£54,000) to be known as the redemption Loan No. 18, 1964, £54,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Waterworks Reservoirs Loan 1951, £220,000 which matures on 18 October 1964, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four thirty-ninths of one penny (⁴⁄₃₉ of 1d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

EAST COAST BAYS BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for a purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £7,000 authorised to be raised by the East Coast Bays Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the construction of a new bridge in Deep Creek Road, in the Borough of East Coast Bays, the said East Coast Bays Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four six pence (0·046d.) in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of East Coast Bays; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hawke’s Bay County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £14,000 authorised to be raised by the Hawke’s Bay County Council under the above-mentioned Act for rural housing advances, the said Hawke’s Bay County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·014 pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Hawke’s Bay; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Hawke’s Bay County Council held on the 14th day of September 1964.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on Maketu County Town Water Supply Loan 1964, £11,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for providing and installing new and replacement water supply mains in the Maketu County Town, the said Tauranga County Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal seven two pence (1·72d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County Town of Maketu, in the County of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on the 16th day of September 1964.

BOROUGH OF WAIUKU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waiuku Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose for providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,500 authorised to be raised by the Waiuku Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for water-supply improvements (preliminary investigations), the said Waiuku Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one twenty-fifth of one penny in the pound (¹⁄₂₅d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Waiuku; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of October and the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”

KOWAI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kowai County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £1,500 authorised to be raised by the Kowai County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying that portion of the Amberley Domain Pavilion Loan 1958 of £2,000 which matures on the 24th day of October 1964, the said Kowai County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal zero-three-one pence (0·031d.) in the pound (£) upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the boundaries of the North and Amberley Ridings of the County of Kowai, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 24th day of October and the 24th day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
