Pursuant to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August 1949, and published in Gazette, of 4 August 1949, at page 1625, appointing five non-elective members of the Rangitikei Catchment Board by deleting the words “Director, Soil Bureau, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Wellington,” and substituting the words “Senior Scientific Officer, Grasslands Division, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Palmerston North”.

Pursuant to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that portion of Outwater Road situated in Block I, Waihi South Survey District, Tauranga County, commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 29 of the aforesaid Block I and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 109 chains and terminating at its junction with Costello Road; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18731 (S.O. 42578) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.

Varying a Condition as to Setting Back the Building Line of Portion of a Street Known as Rosehaugh Avenue, in the City of Wellington, Imposed by Order in Council Under Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 15th day of November 1929, published in Gazette, 21 November 1929, Volume III, at page 3037, and registered as No. 1504, Wellington Land Registry, authorising the laying off of streets of widths less than 66 ft, but not less than 50 ft and 40 ft, subject to a condition as to the building line, by varying the condition with regard to the building line imposed by the said Order in Council, so that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land comprised and described in certificate of title, No. B3/852, Wellington Land Registry, within a distance of 25 ft from the centre line of Rosehaugh Avenue.

Appointment of Aide-de-Camp (Additional) to Her Majesty the Queen
Her Majesty the Queen has graciously consented to approve the appointment of Brigadier R. B. Dawson, D.S.O., Brigadiers’ List, as Aide-de-Camp (additional) to Her Majesty, vice Brigadier R. C. Queree, C.B.E., D.S.O., Brigadiers’ List, retired.

Officer Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations
Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to authorise the officer in the service of the Crown, being the holder for the time being of the office of Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands, Department of Lands and Survey, Invercargill to take and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to revoke the appointment of the holder for the time being of the office of District Administration Officer, Department of Lands and Survey, Invercargill an officer in the service of the Crown authorised to take and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.
