District Scheme Changes Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and
the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public
notice is hereby given of the subject matter of an application
consented to by the Town and Country Planning Appeal
Board as stated hereunder:
Under section 35 of the above-mentioned Act:
Applicant: R. J. and E. Elton.
Terms of Consent: Specified departure permitting the subdivision of all that parcel of land containing 1 rood, more or less, being Section 58, Mawaihakona township, described in certificate of title, Volume 240, folio 108 (Wellington Registry), into two Lots of 17 perches and 20 perches respectively;
notwithstanding that the Upper Hutt Borough Council's Code of Ordinances requires minimum areas of 24 and 30 perches respectively.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
LAND REQUIRED FOR AERODROME AT BROWN ROAD, BELL BLOCK
IN the matter of section 22 of the Public Works Act 1928,
public notice is hereby given that the New Plymouth City Council proposes to provide land for the purposes of an aerodrome and for such purposes requires to take in accordance with the provisions of the above-mentioned Act all that piece of land situated at Brown Road, Bell Block, in the County of Taranaki, and described in the Schedule hereto,
such piece of land being shown on the plan deposited at the office of the said Council situated in Liardet Street, New Plymouth, and there open for inspection at all reasonable hours.
Every person affected is required to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of the notice to the said Council at its said office.

DESCRIPTION OF LAND

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Departure From Operative District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board by order dated the 10th day of August 1964, has consented to a specified departure from the provisions of the Horowhenua County Council's Operative District Scheme by permitting the use for residential purposes of the land described in the Schedule hereto and now included in the Levin Borough, notwithstanding that the said lands are and shall remain zoned for rural purposes, so that such lands may be used for the purposes and subject to the conditions in the Levin Borough Council's Operative District Scheme pertaining to residential zones, as amended pursuant to an application for a specified departure granted on the 14th day of November 1963.

WAIMEKE ROAD BOARD
Town and Country Planning Act 1953
Public Notification of Proposed Change No. 1
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Waimeke Road Board made on the 21st day of August 1964, a change to the District Scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The change relates to two areas being approximately 15 perches and 32 perches in area and being parts of O.L.C. 248 which are to be changed from Rural A Zone to Residential A Zone.
A map delineating the change has been deposited in the office of the Waimeke Road Board, Belgium Street, Ostend, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above place is open to the public.
Objections to the proposed change or any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Board at any time not later than the 15th day of October 1964.

BIRKENHEAD BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Public Notification of Variation of Borough of Birkenhead District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Birkenhead Borough Council made on the 18th day of August 1964, a variation to the proposed district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The variation relates to the zoning of areas to be set aside for off-street parking in the Highbury shopping centre.
The variation has been deposited in the Municipal Chambers, Highbury, and the Birkenhead Public Library, at Highbury, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act and is there open for inspection, without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to this variation of the scheme or to any part of such variation shall be in writing in Form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than Monday, 7 December 1964. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.
