Departure From Operative District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments and of the regulations made thereunder, that the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, by order dated the 13th day of May 1964, has consented to a specified departure from the Mount Roskill Borough Council’s Operative District Scheme by permitting the National Trading Co. Ltd. to erect and use buildings for the purpose of shops and a supermarket on the property contained in Lots 3 and 4, on Deeds Plan 457, and Lot 18, on Deeds Plan 524, and fronting the Mount Albert-Onehunga Road, subject however, to the conditions as set out below:

That ingress and egress for all vehicles be limited to 30 ft of the frontage to the Mount Albert-Onehunga Road immediately adjoining the western boundary.

That the type, plans, and location of all buildings to be erected on the property be to the approval of the Mount Roskill Borough Council, and the gross floor area (exclusive of verandas) not to exceed 20,400 sq. ft.

That not less than 100 off-street parking spaces, with suitable access thereto, be formed to the satisfaction of the Mount Roskill Borough Council.

Leave reserved to all parties “to apply”.

Change No. 3 to Waiuku District Scheme Approved
Notice of Meeting Pursuant to sections 282 and 290
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that Change No. 3 to the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Borough of Waiuku was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 10th day of August 1964, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated. The Council also resolved that the change shall come into operation on the 20th day of August 1964.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office and in every Public Library in the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

Changes of Mount Wellington District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the changes of the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act for the Borough of Mount Wellington, relating to the area and matters set forth in the Schedule to this notice, were approved by the Mount Wellington Borough Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 3rd day of August 1964, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the changes of the scheme had been disposed of and the changes of the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed.
The Council has also resolved that the changes of the scheme shall come into operation on the 20th day of August 1964.
A copy of the changes of the scheme and the scheme itself, as amended by the changes, has been deposited in the Council’s office and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when the office is open to the public.

Scheme Statement Amendments No. 18. These are amendments to clause 7 and Appendix C (Parts 1 and 2) consequential on the above map amendment.

Consent to Departure From District Scheme
IT is hereby notified that on the 24th day of March 1964, the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board consented to a specific departure from the provisions of the Levin Borough Council’s Operative District Scheme in respect of that land situated in Mako Mako Road, Levin, at present and to remain zoned Rural and described as Lots 4 to 15 inclusive, on D.P. 2172, by permitting the Borough Council to grant dispensation from compliance with Ordinance 9 of the Council’s Code of Ordinances so as to permit the erection of dwelling houses.

SUMMIT ROAD PROTECTION
——
PURSUANT to section 6 of the Summit Road (Canterbury) Protection Act, the Christchurch Regional Planning Authority hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be protected land in the terms of that Act.
Generally, this declaration concerns all the land subject to the provisions of the Summit Road (Canterbury) Protection Act and more particularly is that land between Gebbies Pass and Evans Pass from the Summit of the Port Hills to a contour line 100 ft below the Summit Road and extending some distance down Dyers Pass Road.
SCHEDULE
LAND DECLARED PROTECTED
ALL those pieces of land in the City of Christchurch, the Borough of Lyttelton, and the Counties of Halswell, Heathcote, Mount Herbert, and Wairewa delineated on the plans numbered S.O. 10134 and 10135, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch, and thereon coloured red.
