Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken
in Block XIII, Forest Hill Hundred, Southland County

BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road
the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also
hereby proclaim that the road described in the Second
Schedule hereto is closed and shall vest in Keith William
Butcher, of Hokonui, farmer, subject to memorandum of
mortgage No. 152618; and also hereby proclaim that the
land described in the Third Schedule hereto is taken and
shall vest in the said Keith William Butcher, subject to the
said memorandum of mortgage.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
Land Proclaimed as Road
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XIII, Forest Hill
Hundred, Southland R.D., described as follows:

0 1 31 Part Section 118; coloured orange on plan.
0 0 13 Part of bed of Makarewa River; coloured sepia on
plan.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
Road Closed
ALL that piece of road containing 1 rood 24 perches situated
in Block XIII, Forest Hill Hundred, Southland R.D., adjoining
part Sections 118 and 161; coloured green on plan.
THIRD SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
Land Taken
ALL that piece of land containing 7 perches situated in Block
XIII, Forest Hill Hundred, Southland R.D., being part
Section 118; coloured orange, edged orange on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 18649 (S.O. 7172) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 16th day of July 1964.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the street described in the First Schedule hereto
is hereby closed and added to the reserve described in the
Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of street containing 2 roods 32:6 perches
situated in the Borough of Murupara adjoining Lot 1,
D.P. S. 8565 and part Whirinaki No. 1, Section 1, Block; as
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
M.O.W. 18674 (S.O. 42599) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that land reserved for recreation purposes by notice
published in Gazette, 16 January 1964, No. 1, page 19, con-
taining 1 acre, 2 roods, 15 perches being Lot 1, D.P. S. 8565.
Part certificate of title, Volume 1213, folio 166, South Auckland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 29th day of July 1964.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, and the
Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the assignment
to the Amethyst Electric Power Board by the Westland County
Council of its rights, powers, and privileges under an Order
in Council dated the 10th day of September 1958, and pub-
lished in the Gazette on the 11th day of the same month,
at page 1204.

lency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the
borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule
hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the
respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
