Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilisation from and after the 3rd day of August 1964.

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 3rd day of August 1964, subject to a building-line condition imposed by memorandum of acceptance No. 549341, and subject as to Lots 6 and 7, D.P. 22308, to a sewer easement created by memorandum of transfer No. 589753, Canterbury Land Registry.

Declaring Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VII, Tarras Survey District

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by George Leonard Morris, under and by virtue of a pastoral lease under the Land Act 1948 for a term of 33 years from 1 July 1956, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road from and after the 3rd day of August 1964.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Christchurch City District Scheme (Section 2), Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Christchurch City Council in the interests of section 2 of the Christchurch City District Scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of August 1965 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of August 1965.

Licensing Rita Sarah Elizabeth Scott, of Palmerston North, to Use and Occupy a Part of the Bed of Lake Taupo as a Site for a Water-intake Pipeline

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Rita Sarah Elizabeth Scott (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include her administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the bed of Lake Taupo, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11838 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a water-intake pipeline as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of July 1964.
3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be £1 and the annual sum so payable £1.

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Donald Lloyd Colquhoun, of Auckland (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore at The Terrace, Herald Island, as shown on plan marked M.D. 11824 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a sea wall as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
