Rangitoto Survey District, and proceeding generally north-easterly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block XIV, Ongo Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Kiwitea Ward hereinbefore described; thence generally south-easterly along that boundary to a point in the middle of the Oroua River in line with the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 21 and 22, Block XII, Oroua Survey District, to and along those boundaries and the north-eastern boundary of Section 32, Subdivision G, Manchester District and its production across Taonui Road, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 51 and 52 (D.P. 231), Subdivision H, Manchester District to the north-western side of Valley Road, along a right line to and along the south-western boundaries of Sections 39, 40, 41, and 43, Block XIII, Pohangina Survey District to the western side of Pohangina Valley Road, along a right line to and along the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 1309, to the southern-most corner of that lot, along a right line across the Pohangina River to and along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 239, to the north-eastern corner of that lot; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot 2, crossing Wharite Road and Saddle Road, to and along the south-eastern boundaries of part Section 2 (D.P. 6632), and Section 1 (D.P. 239), both of Subdivision X, Manchester District, and along a right line to a point in the middle of the Manawatu River in line with the north-western boundary of Section 406, Town of Fitzherbert, in Block III, Gorge Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the Ruahine Rabbit District described in Gazette 1964, page 806; thence south-westerly, generally north-westerly, and north-easterly along the south-eastern, generally south-western, and north-western boundaries of that district to the point of commencement.
BOUNDARIES OF THE POHANGINA WARD
ALL that area in the Ruahine Rabbit District, Pohangina County, and part Woodville County, containing 165,800 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary of the Oroua Ward, hereinbefore described, in the middle of the Manawatu River and proceeding north-easterly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of that ward to the middle of the Oroua River in Block XII, Oroua Survey District, and being a point on the boundary of the Kiwitea Ward, hereinbefore described; thence generally north-easterly along the generally south-eastern boundary of that ward to the summit of the Ruahine Range on the generally south-eastern boundary of the Ruahine Rabbit District as described in Gazette 1964, page 806; thence generally south-westerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

New Zealand Honey Marketing Authority Election (Notice No. Ag. 8012)
Pursuant to clause (13) of the Schedule to the Honey Marketing Authority Regulations 1953, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons deemed eligible to vote for the election of two producers’ representatives to the New Zealand Honey Marketing Authority, together with the number of votes allotted to each voter, will be open for inspection during office hours at the following places, viz, Department of Agriculture, Head Office, Wellington, and at Auckland; also at the following post offices: Kaitaia, Kaikohe, Dargaville, Whangarei, Warkworth, Pukekohe, Huntly, Thames, Te Aroha, Morrinsville, Matamata, Rotorua, Taupo, Reporoa, Tauranga, Te Puke, Whakatane, Opotiki, Hamilton, Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Otorohanga, Te Kuiti, Taumarunui, Taihape, Gisborne, Wairoa, Napier, Hastings, Havelock North, Waipukurau, Dannevirke, Pahiatua, Ekatahuna, Masterton, Carterton, Featherston, Lower Hutt, New Plymouth, Stratford, Eltham, Hawera, Opunake, Waverley, Wanganui, Feilding, Palmerston North, Foxton, Levin, Waikanae, Nelson, Motueka, Takaka, Collingwood, Westport, Greymouth, Blackball, Hokitika, Blenheim, Kaikoura, Culverden, Amberley, Christchurch, Darfield, Ashburton, Geraldine, Pleasant Point, Fairlie, Timaru, Waimate, Oamaru, Palmerston, Ranfurly, Roxburgh, Alexandra, Cromwell, Dunedin, Forbury, Balclutha, Gore, Lumsden, and Invercargill.
The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 14 days from 22 July 1964.
Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above officers or from the Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture, Private Bag, Auckland, C.1. Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on the 12th day of August 1964, and must be accompanied by a deposit of £3.

Plant Declared a Noxious Weed in the County of Vincent (Ag. No. 8018)
Pursuant to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purpose of the said section, the following special order made by the Vincent County Council on 28 May 1964, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
Resolved that Nodding Thistle (Carduus nutans) be a noxious weed within the County of Vincent.

Variation of Notice Declaring Land to be Subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Pukerewa Development Scheme)
Whereas by notice dated the 6th day of April 1956, published in the Gazette on the 19th day of April 1956 at page 534, and registered as No. S. 104094, the lands described in the First Schedule hereto were declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
And whereas, by an order of the Maori Land Court under section 435 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the descriptions of the said lands have been altered and they are now known by the description shown in the Second Schedule hereto and it is desirable to vary the said notice to show the new description of the land:
Now therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 and section 25 (h) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1924, the Board of Maori Affairs doth hereby vary the said notice by substituting for the descriptions of the lands in the First Schedule hereto, the description of the land set out in the Second Schedule, and doth hereby declare the said land described in the Second Schedule hereto to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Whakatohea Development Scheme)
Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 18 December 1930, published in the Gazette, 23 December 1930, Volume III, page 3908, and registered as No. W. 1697.
