Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Waikato County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road situated in Block XV, Hapuakohe Survey District, described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 0 9·4 Part Lot 2, D.P. 10881; coloured green, edged green on plan.
0 0 30·3 Lot 1, D.P. S. 8452 and part Lot 5, D.P. 3471; coloured green on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 18620 (S.O. 42439) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Pursuant to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE
The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land containing 2 roods 8·1 perches, more or less, being Sections 35 and 36, Block XXVIII, Town of Runanga, situated in Block III, Cobden Survey District, as the same is more particularly delineated on S.O. Plan 3033, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 8th day of July 1964.

The notice published in the Gazette, 30 April 1964, No. 26, page 743, relating to Captain Dennis Hugh Brown, LL.B., is cancelled and the following substituted:
“Captain Dennis Hugh Brown, LL.B., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal Regiment of N.Z. Artillery, in the rank of Captain, retaining the appointment of Legal Staff Officer, H.Q., Waiouru Camp. Dated 31 March 1964.”

Major Daniel Lindsay Studholme is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal N.Z. Armoured Corps, in the rank of Major. Dated 8 June 1964.
