said Council, situated at the Strand, Whakatane, and is open
for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary

objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from
the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the said
Council at the said office.

3E Rangitaiki Parish, Block VIII, Whakatane Survey District,
and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title,
Volume 163, folio 6, Provisional Registry South Auckland
Land District, as more particularly shown coloured yellow,
and edged yellow on Plan No. S.O. 42421.
The above land is situated on the Taneatua-Awakeri Road
near Pekatahi.

WAIROA BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amend-
ments, notice is hereby given that the Wairoa Borough Council
proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to
execute a certain public work, namely, an access way and
parking area, and for the purposes of such public work the
land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land who have any well
grounded objections thereto must state their objections in
writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Wairoa
Borough Council Chambers.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement thirty-
three decimal fifteen perches (33·15p.), be the same a little
more or less, being situate in the Borough of Wairoa, being
Lot 2 on Deposited Plan 7082, which said parcel of land is
part of Town Section 353, Clyde (Wairoa), and being all
the land comprised and described in certificate of title H.B.,
Volume III, folio 48 (Hawke’s Bay Registry), registered in
the name of John McGregor Simpson, of Wairoa, carpenter,
as owner and occupier.

UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
District Scheme Changes Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and
the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public
notice is hereby given of the subject matter of an application
consented to by the Town and Country Planning Appeal
Board as stated hereunder:
Under section 35 of the above-mentioned Act:
Applicant: G. and J. Properties Ltd.
Terms of Consent: Specified departure permitting the appli-
cant company to use a portion of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan
No. 23450, as outlined in red on the plan submitted for the
purposes of conducting thereon an auto-electrical business
for the occupier of the land, but subject however to the
condition that this consent shall inure for a period of five
years only from the date of this consent.
Effective date: 2 June 1964.
The consent of the Town and Country Planning Appeal
Board is contained in appeal No. 332/63.

Dunedin Metropolitan Regional Planning Scheme Amendment
No. 5, 1964
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the Dunedin Metro-
politan Regional Planning Scheme Amendment No. 5, 1964
has been approved in accordance with the provisions of
section 10 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953
and amendments, and shall become operative on 9 July 1964.
The amendment alters the zoning of 25 acres of land in
the County of Taieri, being part of the old Taieri Aerodrome
area from “Aerodrome Purposes” to “Industrial” as shown
on Map Reg. 8/A.
Copies of Map Reg. 8/A have been deposited in the
offices of the Dunedin Metropolitan Regional Planning
Authority, the Dunedin City Council, the boroughs of
St. Kilda, Green Island, Port Chalmers, Mosgiel, the coun-
ties of Taieri, Peninsula, Waikouaiti, and at the Dunedin
Public Library, and may be inspected, without fee, at any
time when these places are open to the public.

BALCLUTHA BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Borough of Balclutha District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme
under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the
Borough of Balclutha was approved by the Council by
resolution passed at its meeting held on the 27th day of
May 1964 after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relat-
ing to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had
been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals
allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required
by the Board had been incorporated.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come
into operation on the 13th day of July 1964.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in
the Council’s office and in the public library and may be
inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any
time when these places are open to the public.

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Public Notification of Variation to Rodney County Council
District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, by a resolution of the
Rodney County Council made on the 25th day of June 1964,
a variation to the district scheme as set out in the Schedule
hereto has been made and is proposed for approval under the
Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The variation has been
deposited in the Rodney County Council office, Baxter Street,
Warkworth, the Public Library, Alnwick Street, Warkworth,
the Public Library, Rodney Street, Wellsford, and the office
of the Auckland Regional Planning Authority at 26 Princes
Street, Auckland, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act
and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons
interested therein at any time when the above places are open
to the public.
Objections to the variations shall be in writing on form
E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country
Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office
of the council at any time not later than 16 October 1964.
At a later date, every objection will be open for public
inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose
any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing
of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing
within the period of which public notice will be given.
SCHEDULE
THE rezoning as Residential A of portion of Allotment 10,
Parish of Matakana, containing twenty-eight and three-quarter
acres (28¾ acres), more or less, situated on Whitmore Road,
Matakana, being part of the land in certificate of title,
Volume 777, folio 148 (Auckland Registry North), as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan lodged
in the office of the Rodney County Engineer under No. T.P./21
being thereon coloured grey.
