HASTINGS CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Flaxmere Development Loan 1964, £400,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Hastings City Council held on the 15th day of June 1964, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hastings City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of four hundred thousand pounds (£400,000), to be known as the Hastings City Council Flaxmere Development Loan 1964, authorised to be raised by the Hastings City Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of purchasing and developing land for housing. The Hastings City Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal one one of one penny (1·11d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Hastings; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of this loan, being ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Worker's Dwelling Redemption Loan 1964, £8,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of £8,500 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Workers' Dwelling Loan 1954, which matures on 15 August 1964, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of one twenty-seventh of a penny (⅟27d.) in the £ upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Rotorua; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Rotorua County Council held on the 23rd day of June 1964.

MARLBOROUGH ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, and all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Marlborough Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of principal, interest, and other charges on the Boards Development Loan 1964, £110,000, authorised to be raised by the Marlborough Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of further reticulating the Marlborough Electric Power District, the Marlborough Electric Power Board makes and levies a special rate of eighty-five thousandths of one penny (0·085d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) on all rateable property in the Marlborough Electric Power District; such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is repaid."

SOUTHLAND CATCHMENT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pukerau Stream Works Loan 1964, £5,800
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers in that behalf it enabling, the Southland Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,800 known as the Pukerau Stream Works Loan 1964, authorised to be raised by the Southland Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of meeting the Board's share of the cost of improvements to the Pukerau Stream and tributaries, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate on a graduated scale according to a classification made for the purposes of such rate of the lands within that part of the Southland Catchment District, defined in the Schedule hereto, and to be known as the Pukerau Stream Rating District, such special rate being as follows:
Fifty-eight shillings and sixpence (58s. 6d.) per acre on lands classified as Class "A":
Twenty-six shillings (26s.) per acre on lands classified as Class "B":
Nineteen shillings and sixpence (19s. 6d.) per acre on lands classified as Class "C":
Thirteen shillings (13s.) per acre on lands classified as Class "D":
Six shillings and sixpence (6s. 6d.) per acre on lands classified as Class "E":
and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

DEFINITION OF THE PUKERAU STREAM RATING DISTRICT
All the lands shown bounded in red on Classification Plan S.C.B. No. A. 466/9, deposited for inspection by the public during office hours at the offices of the Board, 143 Spey Street, Invercargill.
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Southland Catchment Board held on the 22nd day of June 1964.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioners' Flats Loan 1964, £25,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Hastings City Council held on the 15th day of June 1964. Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hastings City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) to be known as the Hastings City Council Pensioners' Flats Loan 1964 of £25,000, authorised to be raised by the Hastings City Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the Hastings City Council hereby makes a special rate of forty-two thousandths of one penny (0·042d.) in the pound of rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Hastings; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of this loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until such loan is fully paid off."

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments, notice is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain work, namely, the construction and formation of a road passing through or adjoining the parcel of land referred to in the Schedule hereunder and situated in Dunlops Road, in Waitakere Riding of the County of Waitemata, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated in the Council Chambers, 199 Karangahape Road, Auckland, and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons having any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the land and wishing them to be considered must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.
