Notice Calling Final Meeting
In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Gullivers Travels (N.Z.) Ltd. (in liquidation), notice is hereby given in pursuance of section 291 of the Companies Act 1955, that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will be held at 3.45 p.m. on Wednesday, the 15th day of July 1964, at Room 11, Chamber of Commerce Building, Courthouse Lane, Auckland, for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Further Business:
To consider and if thought fit to pass the following resolution as an extraordinary resolution:
"That the liquidator retain the books and papers of the company for 5 years and then destroy them."

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of the Lounge Tearooms Ltd., notice is hereby given that by an entry in its minute book, signed in accordance with section 362 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, the above-named company on the 29th day of June 1964, passed a resolution for voluntary winding up, and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will accordingly be held at the office of McCulloch, Butler, and Spence, 26 Ruataniwha Street, Waipawa, on Wednesday the 8th day of July 1964, commencing at 8 p.m.
Business:

  1. Consideration of a statement of the position of the company's affairs and list of creditors and estimates of their claims.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of the Lounge Tearooms Ltd., notice is hereby given that, by duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company on the 29th day of June 1964, the following extraordinary resolution was passed by the company, namely:
"That the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up, and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily."

WAITEMATA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waitemata Electric Power Board Electricity Generating Sets Loan 1964, £200,000
THAT, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and amendments and regulations made thereunder respectively, and all other powers it enabling, the board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing half-yearly instalments of interest and yearly instalments of principal and other charges on a loan of £200,000, authorised to be raised by the Waitemata Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned enactments, in order to provide moneys for the purpose of purchasing and installing peak load generating sets of 12 M.W. capacity, the Waitemata Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 35/1,000ths of a 1d. in the £ upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all the rateable property within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District, as defined in the Proclamation appearing in the Gazette, dated 18 October 1923, and amended by Proclamations appearing in the Gazettes, dated 27 November 1924, 26 August 1926, 7 March 1929, 24 January 1935, 14 April 1954, and by section 44 of the Local Legislation Act 1961; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was carried at a meeting of the Waitemata Electric Power Board held on 23 June 1964.

OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Bridges Loan 1963, £47,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £47,500 authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of finding council's share of the cost of renewing bridges on roads within the County of Otorohanga excluding the Kawhia North Riding, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes a special rate of five-sixteenths pence (5/16d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Otorohanga excluding the Kawhia North Riding; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Libraries Supplementary Loan 1964, £4,250
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of four thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£4,250) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purposes of the Taita Library Loan 1963 (£1,850), and the Stokes Valley Library and Community Centre Loan 1963 (£2,400), the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of forty-five thousandths of a penny (.045d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 22 June 1964.
